    different gear ratios front and rear

    just bought a 1978 f150 i'm planning on putting a 7.3 in it. the rear is a ford nine inch with a 4.11 detroit locker .....not ideal for a dd. i want to put 3.50 gears in the back and 3.54's in the dana 44 up front. as long as i dont drive in 4wd on pavement i should be fine right?:sly

    i've been told that you shouldnt put diesel in gas tanks because something in the tank will react with the diesel. sounds rediculous to me but i dont want to take any chances
