    i can hear it click right into gear but it takes up to 2k on the tach sometimes to get it fully moving

    I tried it and its still the same. Once its moving it shifts fine and if i put it in reverse and back up a bit then forward its a bit better.

    I have a 91 with a E40D and it has recently started acting up when i go to take off i have to rev it up a good bit to get it to move. It works fine in reverse and and the fluid and filter have been changed with no change. Any ideas would be a great help.

    it is the universal i figured there was something going on for that price but after i went back and read the fine print i can see now what it is but the problem seems to have corrected itself so thank you for all your help everyone

    thanks everything has been fine for a month now since i fixed both shower heads and fixed the leaky float on the front tank so hopefully it will straighten up

    my problem just started yesterday but when the truck has been sitting for a few hours and i put it in any gear it wont budge. after about 20-30 seconds it engages and its fine until i let it sit again. fluid is full and im stumped:dunno

    Back half of fuel system overhaul

    just fixed my front tank reading empty issue yesterday, turns out my float had a small hole in it and was sinking, took it all out and replaced the float and what do ya know it all works now. worth a shot to take a look at your float.

    i may have stumbled onto a supply of waste hydraulic oil and i was just checking to see if i could run it if i filter it down good and what would be the best ratio to mix it with diesel. ty
