    i need to change the oil, how many quarts does it take? 1991 7.3 non turbo. and is it like changing the oil in a gasoline engine?? or any special differences?

    i got a new one.. is it supposed to spin 100% freely or should there be a tiny bit you can feel when you spin it?

    i had the same thing and it was the alternator. sucked all the juice from the battieris for the glow plugs and would barely turn over.

    i used both and they both were postitive. it stays on for anywhere from like 3 seconds to 8 or 9. and okay thats what i thought. just making sure. And yes alot of cranking, but once its warm it fires right back up. what do you mean air into the system?
