ok thankyou very much that's how i did it didn't know there was any other way lol and yeah i'll try that and no i dont crank below 12.1v that's why i have to keep recharging thank you very much for the input keep it coming please
i'm pretty sure the ijection timing is on because that has that pin and the 3 bolts and i'm spot on the factory marks but i was thinking the cam timing
ok so i'm now wondering if its somehow possible that my timing got thrown off because i seem to have plenty of fuel to the injectors now and it's acting like either the timing is off or its getting flooded
actually i'm in sacramento right now but i've got some fuel coming out the lines when i crack em now so i think i just need to get a good charge on the batteries and keep bleeding til she fires up thankyou though however any aditional ideas will still be appreciated cuz she ain't back on the...
first allow me to apologize if this was on some other thread and i missed it but i'm losing my mind my truck has been down since the 2nd and i just got the new injection pump in left the glow plugs out and lines cracked and cranked the hell out of her and i'm getting no fuel coming from the...
Ya I've actually got true duals 3"straight pipe all the way back it's a lil loud sometimes and looks a lil crazy having smoke trailing behind both sides of the truck but the engine loves it I noticed a nice power increase too when I did it, as for the b5 not causing oil burn it's been my...
Also how do you get away with burning the b5 when I ran it for like 1000 miles I started burning oil like crazy but it did get a nice mpg boost at first
Thanks for keeping this thread going guys I'm appreciating all the feedback and ideas and I think I'll try to get some narrower slightly shorter tires and probably when I can swing it a electric fan set up seems like a good idea to me my truck runs really cool so I figure it should be nothing...
Kevin 007 looks like your 84 is probably almost the same set up as mine at least as far as running gear so what kinda mpg do you get and what size tires do you run?
Thanks when I said tractor oil I was actually talking bout like for farm equipment mostly I'm wondering if the shorter tires raising my rpms will hurt my mpg and if anyone knows if maybe a thicker oil that's not much more expensive
I had previously thought I had a 4.10 rear end but recently found out its a 3.54. I've got the 6.9 with the t19 4 speed 3.54 rear end and 315/75r16s. I get about 15-18 mpg. I'm now wondering if I got tires in the 33"range and somewhat narrower might I get better mileage or worse? If it turns out...
Thanks for all the help I think when I can afford it I'll either switch to the 35x10.5 boggers since they're slightly over 35 tall and narrower and still over 3000lb rated or I'll get the tires I really want 35x12.5 mud grapplers from what I've read they wear really well on heavy trucks and are...
The only tires I've ever found that are narrower but as tall actually taller are qr78-16 but you can't really find em anywhere as far as I know except interco has a set that look like the old buckshot mudders, which I actually have 1 of the buckshot in good shape as my spare, but the interco...
I'm thinking bout going down to stock size tires from 315/75r16 and I'm concerned that the smaller tires will reduce my fuel economy I'm currently getting around 18mpg does anyone have any input? Thanks in advance

Ok thanks but what I need to know is what is what is the soleniod looking thing that's in the way of me removing the gp relay and replacing it because I don't want to take it off until I know what it is
my truck seems to have the glow plug relay that's mounted on the fender bypassed to one on the back of the intake manifold, so I'm trying to figure out what to do. The one near the intake manifold has some sort of solenoid in the way of removing it and I dont know if I should take it off or...
93cc7.3 I'm usually not into it if it ain't 4x4 but that truck looks sweet with those stacks! Thanks for all the input everyone I was on a 850 mile haul and my damn phone charger went out so I count keep up but I came to a few realizations 1 currently I seem to be getting better fuel mileage...
Again how would the tank selector valve cause this issue(I've utilized both tanks many times and know that previously it was working fine and I'm almost certain it still is as when I had it on the back tank it did use fuel from the back tank and when the issue I was having while running the...
I'm sorry but that doesn't seem to make any sense I was having issues with the front tank selected and when switched to the back tank it cleared up if I'm missing something please elaborate
My truck is really confusing me right now, I topped off the rear tank with b5 biodiesel blend before taking a lil over 30 mile trip to my sis house and then topped off both tanks and the back tank wouldn't even take a full gallon so I did some research and it seems that biodiesel yields better...
