I've already done the cooler. Was a royal PITA. I'm trying to convince the fiancée, heh. And that's only trouble. I'd have to bring it down to work ( overhead crane) to pull the motor. I work at a industrial paint shop so I could just strip it and put some urethane on it.
I need to get rid of my truck (body at least) it's very rusty and proved to be difficult with my 2 year old. To many things wrong with it to make the truck itself worth keeping/fixing
ya it seems not too bad. he said it needed work. i dont know if he means other than the engine. it almost sounds like a injector knock from what videos ive watched online. im wondering if i should get it and try to swap injectors over and see if it goes away. the fiancee doesnt really like the...
Hey guys, took my 7.3 off the road due to leaking everywhere oil pan and rear main leaking quite a bit and I park on the road so can't keep ruining the road side.
I found a 1991 f350 CC long box with a 5 speed with a motor that's knocking for $1200. Since I'd pull the motor to do the oil pan...
Yeah I owned a 99 dodge when my son was rear facing, very very tight he came up between the two front seats. My 1990 ext cab that I have right now is just to say to small. He needs another 4-5 inches and it would be perfect.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if the middle front between the buckets slides forward by itself to fit a forward facing carseat back there. I noticed the ford ext cab is very small but if that can slide forward then it may work?
Alright. Will do, and also would that rear axle sensor have any effect on my speedo, since I changed it it feels that it is more accurate. Doesn't feel like I'm doing 60 when the speedo says 80.
I have had my RAB light on for some time now and decided it was time to change the rear axle sensor. I disconnected the battery for 1 minute after replacing but the light remains on..Any ideas?
Also the little vertical lever on the drivers side of pump when the truck off or on I pulled the throttle wide open and lever did not seem like it was going all the way in. And when the truck was at idle i pushed it in with a screw driver and the truck sounded like it got quieter or bogged down...
The oil cooler is easier than it seem. Just dismount power steering pump and move to side. Take motor mount off and jack the motor up as far as possible to make it easier and start removal, ( it makes one big mess) I just did mine not to long ago it costed $60 in gaskets and o-rings I believe it was
There must have been something that stuck for the high idle (maybe solenoid?) cause it is back to normal, still trying to track a timing meter &light tho
