    Lucas Products

    Lucas oil I just started useing Lucas oils and I like them. I put a gal in the oil and stopped a rear main seal leak. I use it in the rears and both trans. I use type F trans fluid in the fuel tanks. Works for me.

    A/C

    On my 93 there is a grey/orange stripe GROUND wire that goes into and out of the DS on inter fender. It should be ground in and ground out when a/c is turned on. When I added a jumper wire the a/c worked. Hope this helps

    Who's using 2 cycle oil with their Diesel?

    I run a ihc S1900 with DT 466 and normally use Howe's but thought I would try transmission fluid. Went from 8mpg to 10 mpg the first trip. Hope it lasts.

    Ground problem in dash

    My 87 IHC wireing is not color coded it is numbered. I switched hoods and the new hood had cut wireing. I used a continuity tester. Took a while but it worked.

    Another Horse or 2 :dunno I just purchased a school bus with a dta 360 for parts. I have no use for the 360 as I have a DT466 in my S1900 4-door. I hope some knowledgeable person will answer your questions as I need more horses in mine.

    70's F-500/F-600 with C-6 trans

    parts trucks I can't remember any problems I had but this was on 73' model year trucks in about 1996 so age has taken its toll. Duke. I retired in 1999 after 30 years on the road. I pulled tankers hauling Liquid Hydrogen we were the guys who filled the space shuttles.

    70's F-500/F-600 with C-6 trans

    F-600 Parts truck Hi New guy here with first post. I would suggest you not over look the F100 thru the F-350 for cab parts. F-100 doors fit the F-600 and the seats and dash parts from a f-250 bolt right in. Check out that steering colum you need. Worked for me. :D my .02
