I cannot confirm that I will make it in person, I will try my best... on top of work I need to actually get down to SJ to get my truck up and running.
Any which way, I will make sure to contribute all I am really good for... Booze!
Towcat: I will provide enough booze that if you do end up...
These tires appear to be designed for sand and other DRY coarse materials, I think they would almost act as shovels in mud! That is why they are used in the :frustrateMiddle East aka "The Sandbox" as towcat so eloquently calls it!
I live and work in San Francisco and the only off-road driving I...
Those are some pretty sweet trucks you have!!
According to the guy I bought the lift from it is 8" but seeing it on the truck it is definitely 6" to 7". With the addition of the 2" body lift it is up around 8" or so...
I am not trying to make it the biggest or the badest truck out there...
I got the tires from a guy on pirate4x4, I started a thread a while back with the info check it out:
http://www.oilburners.net/forums/showthread.php?t=37180
I did not get them for $20 each (what a deal) but $75 + shipping a pop is not to shabby compared to how much "normal" 37" tires cost!
One step closer to TONKA!!
Next on the laundry list (that Calvin made for me tonight)

What were you talking about this whole pulley removing deal?? I am probably going to have to give you a call tomorrow morning :D
Here is a shot of the hydro boost/master that...
I found a dually 1994 F350 locally that is being parted out. I am going tomorrow to pull the master cylinder and hydro boost along with the water reservoir. What tools will I need to pull these parts?
Anything else I should pull off of the truck for the hydro boost conversion?
Thanks!
Does anyone know of a big rig salvage yard in the Bay Area or Northern California for that matter?
I had an inspiring dream :sly last night and I want to go scrounge around for some BIG parts!
Thanks!
GOT A SET!!

The guy told me:
"Our insurance prohibits us from selling pieces of the kits... but, I have not met my quota for the day so, what the hell!!"

It seems as though you guys see my truck more than I do these days!!
Warden, Thank you for the picture... Now you all can see what "Jacked up" means!!
I am afraid to go back to Calvin's shop because I do not want to get wrenches and other heavy objects thrown at me from his guys!
Does anyone have or know where I can find Heavy Duty front I beam drop brackets?
Towcat has been helping (understatement) me work on my truck, he got the lift put on but now the front is all sorts of jacked up... I need to drop bracket for the front axle to level it out.
Does anyone have...
A little background on me... I am a VERY impulsive person, I typically get something in my head and I go go go until it is done or at least until I hack something to the point of no return! (I tried to put a V-12 into a '68 mustang... got it in but the hard part came when I tried to put 4...
Not yet...
I have the interior almost done minus gauges, 3/4 of the lift (thanks to Towcat)
Still needs:

Injectors
Turbo install
Fenders re-rolled
Front/rear bumpers fab'ed

Big Dave, I can pass off the guys info I got those tires from... $75 a pop... pretty sweet!!
I have tried everything I can think of to get the 2 front wheels off of my truck (someone ran me off the road and I blew my front passenger side tire) I have soaked the lugs in penetrating fluid, impact wrench, tire iron, blah blah and NON of the 8 bolts are budging...
HELP.. Please?
I love the look of the Scout 80 so much more than the 800 or II...
Also, I am thinking about giving it to my girlfriend when I am done with it... She has a LEAD foot so there is no need for big power for her!!

That is a horror story!! What are your thoughts on this bad boy??
I am finally back in action, and back into getting back on the forum.
