1993 W250 diesel, a few questions....
The guy I work for just bought one of these as a ranch truck. How much vaccum does it need for the brake booster? Does the sensor in the rear axle run the speedo , cruise, and ABS or just some of the three? Are there any spesific things to watch in this 1st gen cummins truck...- kentuckydiesel

GOOD NEWS, GOOD NEWS!!!!! You guys were right, just a leak. The gasket stuff blew out of that unsupported area of the drivers side intake. No big deal. :thanks: I was worried that my 240,000mi turbo finally bit the dust, but she's still going strong. -phillip -Deadhorse- kentuckydiesel

Nope, not intercooled yet. I thought it was funny, the hopwl kinda came on like someone turned on a switch. First thing I did was stop and see if I had blown a boot or map hose (no I'm not intercooled yet). All looks well but I didn't check to see if the clamps were tight. I'll check...- kentuckydiesel

Uh..Oh......Turbo........
My turbo is making noise above about 18psi now. It's not bad, just kind of a whining noise. I couldn't feel any play in the shaft. What are my options?? Thanks, Phillip- kentuckydiesel

5" exhaust
My muffler is an Auto-Jet. I don't remember the part number and I can't find it in the TDS search. I don't think it matters that much though. My buddy 96Dually (Phil) bought one from a local truck parts place, just a standard 5" straight through truck muffler, worked great. -Phillip- kentuckydiesel

5" exhaust
I bet you'd be happy if you were to put a 5" straight through muffler on. Make sure it's the type with the little scoops inside the muffler but you should be able to see through it like looking through a regular pipe. If you go that route, you'll still have good engine sound, ton of turbo...- kentuckydiesel

Just reached 200,000 miles on my '97
As soon as my truck hit 200,000 it started eating $$. Well, I've got most everything right again and now it's driving better than ever. 233,000mi, atting an extra 1000mi each week :D I love my truck. -phillip- kentuckydiesel
