6.9 IDI into 1940's 1/2 truck
I am about to restore a 1941 Ford 1/2 ton and it has no drivetrain. I was wondering if it would be possible to swap in a 6.9 IDI engine and drivetrain. I have a used 6.9 IDI from my old 1984 F250. I would wonder about engine and transmission fit and frame/suspension ability to hold it as well...- torman
