    Mann and Hummel bought wix and some others in May 2016. They ,MH, have been a high end filter maker for years. That said the Napa Gold version , FIL 1734, I can still get for 16 ish. We get a big discount on filters through work.

    William Deering has had two or three alternators damaged in shipping no matter how well he packs so I'm guessing that yours got ran over with a forklift LOL.

    Heat it, let it cool, then get a GOOD pair of vice grips. Always heat this plug first, and scrub that passage clean.

    Napa is BS'ing you, spectra is ok but still have warranty issues. we had 1 leak right out of the box and a condenser not long after. But they were chevy parts.LOL

    I just checked Woodline, they are out also, PAI sold out of the pans but are planning on another run . Couldnt say when it would happen

    If you are getting rid of it then whats the worry, itl run a while on hot batteries. If you want to convert to ford alt I have pieces.
