    Well said, Al. Thought the oil in my water was my head gaskets, which were leaking.... :confused: Didn't realize the cooler rings were bad until the engine was back in-frame after new head gaskets... not a happy thing on an E-van. :frustrate

    OK, fellas..... got my valve covers off, and no blowby through the valve guides/seals -- clean as a whistle. ;Sweet I DID find that the #7 EXHAUST pushrod is clearly backwards.... the less-experienced guy reassembled the valve train.... me..... :frustrate At least it'll be an easy fix...
