    Bulbs are the first thing I check when the Transmission starts acting up. 390,000 KM on the original Transmission, change the fluids maybe 3 times that's it.Last service they told me it needed a rebuild because there was some fileings on the plug, that was 100,000 KM ago,still running...

    Thanks,I shall check the tail light ground and trailer plug while I'am at it.I have had the high cab mounted brake light mess with my E40D Transmission shifting before.Crazy how a light bulb can mess with your Transmission.

    That is great news, did not have time to trace all the lines.When draining Rad coolant looked real clean and oil free,I just assumed all lines in or out of the Rad should only contain coolant.Learned something new about my Truck today.Thanks .

    I pulled my Radiator today as I am replacing my Rad core support and front fenders on my Truck, when I pulled one of the small hoses which goes from bottom of Rad to external Trans cooler I seem to get oil in my bucket, I am using Rotella ELC coolant which is pink just like Transmission fluid...

    Phone about 10 wreckers today , no one has a gauge cluster/ PSOM for my Truck.Lots of gas trucks, they tell me I can only use one out of the Diesel IDI 7.3 ? Ford has discontinued, keep looking i guess.Good thing it's not my only means of transportation.

    I have not check wiring to VSS may have broken or short there ? Or the tone ring in the Diff? I change the bulbs in my gauge cluster once, maybe my PSOM could be repaired ?

    OK I double checked and replaced fuses, and replace them just in case,also installed new VSS still nothing good to report. No Odometer/ Speedo OD starts flashing OFF after first gear shift.Great videos by the way,thanks for you help. I suppose the next step is replace the PSOM?

    The odometer shows nothing,speedo does'nt move.I bought a VSS from ford today, - 8 deg outside and dark when I get home ,but hope to try this real soon.Also notice there is a power control module relay, could it be a relay ? If not I shall look for PSOM,not very good with electrical,repairing it...
