F super duty rear to F350 will it work?

The spring hangers and springs are not a direct swap. I put the big cast steel f 450 hangers on my f350 and had to drill all but 1 hole on each side. It wasn't fun but it's strong as an ox and won't rust out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Rear diff questions

Hmmmm those look like 7/16 Pto studs with course and fine thread. They hold the 8 bolt PTO's onto rig transmissions. I have one here that's about 2" long. A truck parts place should be able to hook you up with studs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any one want to rent me a timing tool?

Dohh! Thanks for making me look lazy Gary. I'll make him an offer on it this week. Play funds are on the very tight side lately. Every couple months I think of it and do some searching and never come up with anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any one want to rent me a timing tool?

So after not being able to find my injection line timing adaptor, or a replacement one, I was hoping some one from the community could help me out. I have the Kent Moore meter, mag pick up and all the wires but my injection line clamp is MIA ( I think it's KIA by now) I recently put a 6.9 in my...

    1994 Serpentine set up

LOL I just read that thread. Looks like a hell of an upgrade!! probably not as good as tow mirrors, but close. right now the only thing I could really need/use is a set of 6.9 head studs. I'm out of spare vacuum pumps if you have any you'd part with. That's all I can think of at the moment....

Crazy idea for D44HD TTB 4x4 conversion (feel free to hit me if I'm off the wall)

I mentioned this a couple years ago on here. I did not measure but it sure looks like the 1/2 ton 44 beams are the same length as the 2wd ttb arms. I do have to kinda disagree with your stance on the Chevy 44HD outers and brakes being smaller. I did that swap on my 90 bronco. it was (IMO)...

    Cooling sytem problem 7.3

You don't happen to have a craigslist ad looking for a IDI turbo engine do you?? My 94 was doing the exact same thing. After lots of fan changes, locking a fan solid, thermostat changes, and finally a thermostat removal my truck finally stayed cool. a day later it threw a belt and I was 2...

    1994 Serpentine set up

my truck wouldn't hold a belt and I got tired of trying to find the right size and burning my arms every time it'd throw one. so it is not all V-belt. I have all the brackets, power steering pump w/o a reservoir, alternator and base, A/C compressor that i'm assuming is no good but it spins...

    T19 Overheating?

I bet you could run mud in a t-19 and it would be fine. I've had good luck with 15-40 in them, makes winter time shifting a bit easier. Thinner fluid makes them shift easier but also makes them louder

Facet Duralift not enough pump to keep up?

I just messed with a Carrier for an hour last Friday at 5pm on a hot engine in the sun. changed 3 fuel filters, blew the fuel lines out and still would get 0 psi while running and about 8psi with engine off key on. Truck would not do more than 25mph, starved for fuel and I was 55 miles from...

Project new tow rig, round two!

Ahh. I should have paid more attention to the rally thread. I was actually heading to Carlisle to meet Dunk. He's the (hopefully) proud owner of a mint bullnose core support. I bet if crawler seen it in the back of the car I would have been ran off the road!

Project new tow rig, round two!

Ya it would have been. Where was the rally?? I'm only about 70 miles from Bedford. Now I feel dumb. I was impressed going by it. I slowed down to get a good look and I can't believe I didn't notice the suspension when I came up on him. I normally have a good eye for that stuff Sent from my...

Project new tow rig, round two!

You didn't happen to have this truck out Saturday afternoon on the turn pike heading east did you?? Seen one a whole lot like it but I could have swore the entire bed was red with a "not a powerstroke" sticker on the tail gate. If it was you I was the dude in the purple VW giving you the...

    Ip not getting fire

The FSS bolts to the top of the pump from the inside. Those studs that the hot wire plugs into have rubber /plastic washers so that when you energize the FSS solenoid it doesn't short out. It sounds exactly like your problem. I'll take some pictures tonight. I know I have a pump top off on my...
