tear it apart and make sure the pump gears are tight on the shafts, if they slip on the shaft, it's no good- jwalterus

As stated before, Under load, anything under the factory governor (3600ish) is safe, if you are thinking free-rev speed, just don't............... what axle and brake rotor
Pull off the entire assembly and press out the studs to remove the rotor from the hub. As far as that goes, I doubt you have them (the rotors) worn down to the point they actually need replaced even if they are grooved, I'd just have them turned. Replacing water pump tomorrow, tips?
I'm a die hard old-schooler........... SHELLAC on all my gaskets (and if you put a smear around the water necks they'll never leak either, even re-using a hose), and the only shellac I use is Indian Head ;Sweet- jwalterus

There's an audio (supposedly) of it floating around on the interwebs, IIRC it was destroked to the point that ether was a requirement just to get it to pop off. If you listen to the audio, it takes forever to get it started initially, and a while for it to run smooth after starting, but you can...- jwalterus

Your insurance SHOULD be covering the trailer if they cover the truck, hell, it should be covering the trailer even if it's NOT covering the truck. I had that one explained to me by an insurance agent (not mine, did some work on his office though) years ago. The way it was explained to me...- jwalterus

Yes, I was trying to explain where I put them, I really should have take a picture, but I didn't. :dunno Effectively, I filled the inside with grease, not a full lockup, but pretty close, it's been cold most of the time though, so we'll have to see how it functions after it gets warmer (60+)...- jwalterus

The purpose of this isn't because I've had issues with the cooling system not working well enough in stock form, just kind of looking to see if there is a better or different option than adjusting the spring or swapping to an electric fan setup for people who do have overheating issues...- jwalterus

Soooo..... current update.... and what NOT to try LOL Attempt #1: Cheap nylon flex fan, bolted into 1/4" plate welded to a cut off fan clutch nut (balanced on the lathe), bolted into threaded holes with blue locktite.......... the bolts worked their way out....... minor damage, I got lucky on...- jwalterus

I have a Napa, carquest, oreilly, AC Delco, and a couple others in town I go to napa for electrical items and filters I have to have that day, anything else, they are my last choice, especially plumbing type fittings- jwalterus

I buy mine in the scrap bin, use a new one every time LOL, properly sized chunk of dowel and a big gob o' grease is the easiest way to remove a pilot bushing ;Sweet- jwalterus
