    Never takes long before something I read on this forum becomes reality on one of my trucks. Woke up to a puddle of nice new ELC this AM thanks to one of those screw clamps. I put a second one there for now but I'll replace it with the proper clamp, PIA as they are to manipulate.

    I tried a sew-on cover like I put on my '06 (looks good) but it was too big to lace tightly on the '93 steering wheel. I can't stand the slip-on covers soooo,,, off with the old ratty one and on with a old but much more pristine version :D

    Take the old one, lay it out with your new parts, cut some 4" lengths, align the parts the same as the old one, plug them together then back on the engine.

    I understood, and I agree. It seems a real legit "conversion" by a company that did conversions would include all 6 wheels.

    Can also attest, I have a '06 F-350 Lariat and it's damn near *too* luxurious for a truck. And that's nothing like the new ones. The OBS and back feel like actual real trucks to me.

    If you have a pic of the hub extensions I'd be interested in seeing them. What is it about the TTB that would cause that? This is the first truck I've owned with this. The wheels would be at the same fulcrum point, a hub extender to push it out and the dished dually wheel to bring it back...

    My dad had a '78 supercab 4wd 4spd (gasser obvs) that's what he made me take my drivers test in when I was 16. I wanted a supercab 4wd ever since, the dually and 7.3idi is a super bonus :D

    I bought this from Fla specifically because it never saw NE salt roads, no rust on the body but these chrome parts took it tough. Much easier to fix or replace than sheet metal at least.

    I love the style of them. The factory ones are a lot beefier and put the mirrors higher and farther out than these tin and plastic cheapos. The brackets are all rusted up tho, gonna sand em and have them re-chromed at some point when I stop throwing money at stuff it actually needs.

    Put on some $30 Chinese fleabay rear views, not crazy about them they look kinda cheesy but good enough until I get the rusty pitted originals restored.

    I was looking at that, it doesn't include the glow plug adapter and the only one of those I can find is for the 5.7 Olds motor. I'm leaning towards that Gunson piezo pulse timer mentioned in a recent thread if I can't find one.
