Well was driving down the road from my grandma rehab and truck caught fire under the passenger side of the hood looked like eiher the relay on the fender and gp controller end of story insure was a called and well no longer have my 1993 brown 174k of mile 7.3 n/a 2wd drive and the search begins- Jason1377

So what did you do with your truck today?
Made a parts list and ponder why my 2 lower start bolts just shimmy loose and if a little loctite will keep them in there when out a pain changing. Also set up an order for new tires and alignment all for $350 tires included at a huge discount- Jason1377

Changed out the throttle pressure sensor pic below what my old one looked like also found out my front tanks sending unit is fouled out so will read the forums how to replace that with out a shop it helping hand also discovered a short in my head light switch that pulls out of it is all the way...- Jason1377

IDI Wizards, your best guess please...
Not wizard a young jedi maybe Oil change glow plug change fuel filter change with some ATF let sit over night or some hot shot secret like Thewepual and a few others use a compress test pictures would help as well. I would also talk to @Thewespaul @typ4 and others before a rebuild. Best...- Jason1377

Fuel here is $2.22 and of course my truck decided to die at my job and or sure what is causing my starter to just sounds like a zip gun alternator is good gp's are a yr old and not many miles and this black plug by the ip keeps falling out from under star screws.- Jason1377

Thank you for that information Got the truck started my headlights are wonky thinking may have a short in it as not my fuel filter light just stays on while my rpm gauge pegs 2k before changing gears and after hitting 45mph it is steady 3k rpm trans fluid and oil are both full fresh diesel in...- Jason1377

Both batteries fully charged starter and alternator tested good went to try and start it today and just had a wait to start on dash lit up starter rolled but nothing no turn over tried it before work at 4 PM and it was completely dead just had dome light on nothing else no start or voltage...- Jason1377

Here is a short video of the truck fighting to start just took the video before work yesterday did not drive the truck though and will look in to that tester @Cubey and any advice helps and saves unneeded cash. For such a lost cost part the fuel pump it surely is a major part needed- Jason1377

New plugs wont start now.
There should be a tech article on glow plug replacement my own personal glow plug change I never used and lubrication though I sure you can- Jason1377

Fuel filter light stays on after filter change
Had fuel pump replaced 7 months ago with other matinence it only has 200 miles on it the strange thing is I can not go over 30 miles per hour now with out it shutting or turn key back wait a few minutes it restarts and the high idle takes like ten minutes now it seems.
