Im having issues with my new oil pressure sensor and gauge which i think im wiring wrong. So about a month ago i had issues with charging and i had the cluster takin apart about 4 times unpluging it and looking at stuff to fix the charging issue. Well the last time i plugged everything back in...
Ok thanks for the diagrams. Wasn't sure if the diagram i was reading was correct or not. Is there any keyed power near the starter solenoid or GP solenoid? I was probing around and only found a couple low voltage wires

The link to the wiring diagram in this thread is too old!:( does anyone out there have personal experiance with these?
I did the swap following the picture. The battery still wont charge. So my battery light is known to not work on start up. I did hook up the i from the alternator to the green and purple wire going to the cab. Can i hook the I from the ALT to ignition like some diagrams say? I wanted to check...
Funny how people on the internet with a trained eye can see better than you can... thanks bronco u were totally right. Now to wait for the morning to see if it works!
So i am looking at the right thing right? And dgr i have oil pressure, pyro, and boost. My exhaust runs about 250 idleing and will reach 1100+ when pulling a hill with my foot in it
I have gotten the oil pressure gauge figured out! Thanks guys. I have some more questions tho... i seem to not have any wire or any split in the harness for a wire to (im guessing) the high idle solenoid. My truck does not kick into high idle on a cold start. Any body have an idea? It would be...
I have a dana 60 out of a 2002 f250 and was wondering if this axle will work without much fabrication. Ive seen alot about getting an older one but no info on a newer axle.
Ok having some issues still... the light does work when i make it work with my power probe. The green and purple wire coming from the dash to the I terminal on the VR is getting 12v when the truck is on. The light will not turn on when the key is cycled. My question.... does the light absolutly...
Ok so the light circuit is the vrs trigger wire basically. Cool i will look at that cause its deffinetly not turning on. Thanks guys if i have more problems ill get back to you. Thanks for the diagram franklin!
Its an 87. Does that mean its an obs? And no when my key is on the battery light does not illuminate. I didnt know about that issue. What does that light have to do with the alt?
I can put 12v to the f wire coming out of the VR and the alternator charges but if not it doesent. The VR is getting power from the yellow wire but not sending it.... what does the white and black wire do coming out of the ALT?
Hey guys i am having the same problem as the op and need help i have the VR grounded good(brand new) and have ran a wire strait from the b+ post on the alt strait to the battery. Nothing changed. The A terminal reads 12.6 on the VR. Im stuck brand new batterys. Fresh VR. newer alternator. And i...
OK. Do these have low oil pressure light? And what gauges do people usually buy? I don’t want to cheap one but I don’t want to spend $250 on a little POD gauge
I just keep this one going to not clog up the front page. What does yourguys oil pressure sit at? Mine is a tick below normal. Ive read other guys say dont trust them. Im wanting to put a oil pressure gauge in cause i have a third hole for one
Ya ive been reading about timing for these things. Cant find a good article on how to.
How are u so sure its a c6? Jw im like 99% sure it is cause its a 3speed
