I think I’m def going with the cm bed. I can’t wait. I love the recessed lighting hidden gooseneck , the reverse lights are bright as hell. Maybe I’ll just build some stake bed sides etc and a bolt on spare tire carrier.
I’ll just have to get some nice stake sides for the cm, the cm is $2300 cash new out the door. I just want a spare tire carrier added to it but don’t wanna **** with the powder coat ♂️
I’ll miss it too @Thewespaul i just can’t help but sweat like a bastard when I’m off the beaten path in this thing because the bed is so perfect and one minor slip up and it would be gone. I did get all the money for it though. $1500 no questions asked. Guy bought it to use on his 97 restoration...
Ok now I’m torn. The cm bed is sexy as hell and very useful, the other bed pictured I found is well built, dom headache rack etc. I’d bring the fenders in and square them up to make more space on the bed surface id also replace the wood with diamond plate and probably ad some rails to the sides...
I remember when I had my 92 n/a I bought a y pipe off a company in Iowa or something that made them for busses. It was a much much better setup than factory.

I could check the fuel pump plate for sure, maybe you're right but it does seem to be central to the crank shaft. I also cant remember if the leak was there before or after that. However that's a good place to look and didn't think of that.
So I work two jobs and with limited time I want to pay someone to R&R my engine, do a complete regasket, new valve springs, repaint while its out.
I just got quoted $3000 ish by a shop that charges $75 an hour and I pay for parts.... was wondering the thoughts on that first quote I got.

This..... and that's why I passed up the 6.0 excursion that was immaculate this weekend. My 06 was so amazing WHEN IT RAN, however over the year of owner ship it spent 6 months in the shop, 6 months running.
This is an awesome thread because I’ve been searching and searching for a 7.3 to regasket/rebuild so that I don’t need much downtime on my truck .... as long as you don’t plan on going crazy and just doing the simple bolt ons and ip advance etc an n/a would be fine.
