I can get almost anything in good volume, whats the general consensus among you all that have been burning oil in ur rigs on which waste oil makes the best fuel. WMO, hydro oil, gear oil, atf, is one better than the other. I’ve heard additives are bad synthetic is bad wmo is bad cause of carbon...- Far Right

How much low end boost?
I’ve got a n/a 6.5, dont turbo the old n/A’s mate the metallurgy in them is terrible and they crack bad. Even with brand new optimiser heads on mine I will not turbo as the blocks are weakly made too. If you want a turbo you’ll have to get a newer optimiser engine or you’ll loose ur reliability...- Far Right

Yeah I remember having an old 2h land cruiser 22yrs ago n a set of injectors were $70 for 6 n took about 10mins too change but usually a splash of injector cleaner in the fuel fixed all the issues, annnnnnd then DI ingines showed up n overtook almost like petrols did, n then common rail engines...- Far Right

I’ve got plans here I bought of an Australian bloke to build a still/fracking unit to make clean diesel, it’s a big job to make and it’s a Smokey sooty operation as it burns the run off oil as fuel for the heat, I believe set up right it’d be safe. Yeah ok thanks guys, so I’ll be chasing a specific Chevy db2, even with stupid postage of like $300 from US to aust it’s still over 1k cheaper to buy a fully rebuilt pump from the US than over here. I see there listed for 6.2 6.5 chev and 6.9 7.3 fords so are the fords running the exact same pump or is there differences? Yeah ok absolutely not a bad idea at all, never pulled down a db2 but **** if I can build a boat from scratch I can do absolutely anything, sooooo I’m prob in ur corner here. Need to get a second pump (injectors are way cheap) n have the know how to swap them out properly n then refurb, probably...- Far Right
