    Jesus Freak's WMO IP thread

From leswhitt’s experience it shows what I’ve read everywhere that jeans and bag filters will not do the job, making crud oil into something usable takes money and time, Diesel gelling???? Never heard of it?? Just how cold is it over there from day too day, Ive never been in a house...

My 6.5 Has a new IP and injectors with 20’000 km of diesel usage on them, am now running WMO for all driving, short and long, will be putting another tank in soon as stated earlier just to shut down on and then start on diesel, let’s see how it goes

    Jesus Freak's WMO IP thread

I’m not driving a Ford, Ive never seen the motors you have, but I’m yet too set up my Ute with 2 tanks, annnnd it’s starting exactly the same, when cold, not 1 rotation more, on WMO,(cut to viscosity with jet fuel) maybe it’s cause it’s a NA engine with higher Comp, maybe glow plugs are in better...

Yeah well it being the soot makes total sense too me, cause it’s still black and too me that’s not clean, and this soot is obviously lighter than oil cause centrifuges do not remove it, and it must be small if 1 micron filters don’t remove it, I can get sub mic filters but I’d hate too see how...

    Jesus Freak's WMO IP thread

But cutting to the same or close viscosity would illuminate that would it not, I have no doubt that it must cause some damage yeah but same as Jesusfreak just trying too understand it better, the more ya know the more you can prepare prevent etc etc,

    Jesus Freak's WMO IP thread

Yep for sure. Back to IP’s though, if there tolerances are so sub micron why do we not have finer fuel filters, and why do they last so long with standard filters, there is a lot of old bulldozers tractors etc that have absolutely filthy tanks in them and they run just fine with these for...

    Jesus Freak's WMO IP thread

Yeah ok my bad then, just always assumed by the dripping black oil she was all about burning that stuff, still cooler than discussing Honda accords or VW golfs ey

    Jesus Freak's WMO IP thread

And absolutely stealth is the key, but I did think this forum was all about burning oil as fuel. And then sharing the learning with each other so as too continue doing so for as long as possible as cheap as possible, be a totally different story if he was on Facebook posting this info and...

Yeah I get that but I was more thinking like interchangeable parts in the pumps where at the moment there just made too a certain tolerance n when worn there stuffed, sort of like sleeves for barrels diff sized pistons etc

Can a pump be rebuilt to handle WMO?? I mean I know it’s different but we mod motors to take boost, is there a way of modding these pumps too take oil contaminates?

    Supercharged v8 diesel

Yeah mate that’s a supercharged 6.5chev built by bullet diesels in aust. They do a full kit. Custom extractors manifolds etc

    Supercharged v8 diesel

    ?? 6.5 chev diesel??
  15. F

    Supercharged v8 diesel

And I think it would be too tight for a turbo as well, plus I doubt the head gaskets/bolts/heads would take too much boost, only trying too 3200 or what ever it is not really much room there too use it, even as a NA I never go past 2500rpm. It just doesn’t need too, it is a little lazy when...

    Supercharged v8 diesel

Going too stick with 10psi, 6.5’s don’t rev much but some are putting 18psi through them, I’m looking for a reliable gain that’s also a bit of fun, seen a 6.2 running 10psi smash a 6.5turbo opti running 15psi in exceleration too 100kph, (husband vs wife) but they have moved n I no longer have...

What wmo and mixes are the 6.5’s eating

Thanks mate good too know. I’m in the process of setting up a separate tank with 3 way ball valves to shut it down on straight diesel from time too time n I’ll have that mixed with injector cleaner, hoping that letting it cool n soak in that periodically saves me the need for pulling injectors,
  18. F

    Supercharged v8 diesel

Absolutely, should just need to change injectors to turbo specs and wind fuel up a bit on the db2, not sure if extractors will fit past the Nissan chassis but I’ll check that out once I got all this stuff ready to go on

    Supercharged v8 diesel

Hey guys, now my Ute seems to be running for virtually free thanks to your support in running wmo I was thinking of throwing on a blower, in my Ute it’s a simple conversion and I have lots and lots of room in there for it, also a company here sells the entire kit, my Ute is a non turbo NA 6.5, a...

What wmo and mixes are the 6.5’s eating

Hey mate better late than never, my 6.5 has the Mech db2 pump like your 6.2 it’s out of a us military hummer. I’m running it now on a blend 70% wmo and 30% jet fuel I also got for free, it’s loving it, (so far ) anyways thanks for chiming in. Did ur 6.2 ever need assistance getting the oil to...

How much crud should I be getting in my centrifuge

I’m sucking it from a drop tube that picks up from front bottom through the 2” hole

How much crud should I be getting in my centrifuge

Ok so ran it at 90deg c through my fuge for 6 hrs. I did get more out but it was so little extra that I dont see the Benifits in going longer than I did as it’d take a lot of that to block up filters. I’m guessing my source oil is extremely clean and well settled,

How much crud should I be getting in my centrifuge

Ok thanks mate, I’ll turn the temp up a bit today n run it In circuit as I modded my drum yesterday, see if I can get something out of it, I got 2 fuges but one pump was guna set them up side by side so one feeds the other and then back again but I’m not sure this is any better than in circulation
  24. F

How much crud should I be getting in my centrifuge

Yeah ok mate thanks, so 3x what L per min my fuge is will equal 1 pass per L of oil, so say 100L needs to pass through at a rate of 300L to count as 1 pass on a recirculating set up. My oil Ive sourced is black but not black if that makes sense, it doesn’t stain my fingers, hardly stains the...

How much crud should I be getting in my centrifuge

Yeah ok so the paper will not trap more crud, the instructions with my fuge say not to heat oil more than 60-70degc cause the pump seals won’t take it, I find that hard to believe though as when I left the pump circulating the oil/jet fuel afterwards to ensure it was well mixed the pump was too...
