    Just went 9000 miles on my 7.3 with my remote mount DBL7405 filter/ B164 bypass filter. Blackstone labs said I was still fine and the filters were doing their job. Could have made 10k but suggested not to push it much further.

    So originally when this started I couldn't remove my old resistor because my bypass filter and coolant filter were in front of the hvac box so I left it mounted to the box and zip tied the plug with a new resistor in the engine bay.     That ELF Donaldson I'm using is 7 nominal and 15 absolute, slightly worse nominal but about the best absolute I could find with the right thread pitch. It's still almost a foot tall as well.

    That is the right vacuum line for the max ac door, it's also a great place to buy a tiny T for the ranger vacuum switch mod like I have in Ernest to cut off flow of coolant to the heater core to make your AC even colder in the hottest days.
