    I think you'd be fine by reducing it to 1.5", I can't see how a 4' long 1.5" wand on the end of a 2" hose would break the pump....if anything it seems like it would make it suck harder. That said, aren't most bung holes 2"?

    Since you aren't blending gas into your mix, I think heating before the pump would be a solution. Actually, I think heating the tank itself would be your best bet, then your WVO will always be at summer temps.
