;Sweet Make sense . I am little slow tonight .. But i don't see that's possible specially with it pulling really strong up to 3200RPM's on 2nd gear ..I would think that i will do the same if it's bad LP
Here is the Test Run result
I switched to 2nd and gave it a go, It shifted and tach jumped all the way to 3200RPM's but i did not pay much attention to speed but i would say ruffly around 45mph-55mph or so
With the truck loaded for example hauling the 35ft camper & loaded bed ,fuel delivery not a problem for example :
as i am pushing up hill turning 2500 RPM's it deliver well off course i am not going 70MPH either with this kind of load . When i am loaded and on the HWY never planed to go...
would a lift pump only show this symptoms at higher speed and higher Rpm's .. agin i am not looking for how fast i can go in such a beast but trying to figure out this strange behaviour
been making several successful Trips with the green machine empty & Loaded, However i feel like i have governor after 75 mph unloaded off course . When i punch it beyond the 75mph mark or close it hesitate , jerk and feels sluggish like lacking fuel delivery .Clean fuel filter ..I am not...
My uncle owned an Old Diesel BENZ .I remember it very clearly that he had a rag wrapped around a stick that was soaked in gasoline and light it like touch , Then my other uncle crank while the other one passing the stick over the intake for it to pull the hot vapor in . It took nearly 2 passes...
I successfully plumed a new Drain tube from Banks Turbo to dump inside the Driver Valve cover , Plugged the VP hole with pipe thread plug for good . ENG is Bone dry now ,my driveway is free of oil stains , the most important part is that my Rebuild OEM Mits start no longer getting oil soaked ...
That is awesome to hear and know .. I am sure every one here including my self really appreciate that . Please let me know how the process works on getting the meter , shipping it ..etc . The Green machine cold use timing check soon.
Since i was back in PA for the X mas holiday weekend , I figure to stop at Conestoga Diesel Injection ( http://www.conestogadiesel.com/aboutus.html) and say hi to Mel and Suzi Agne. Mel was out but i spend time talking to Joel . He was very knowledgable and familiarized me with their IP level's...
The OLD green machine pulled another 3k miles of long hwy miles in the last 2 weeks . Pretty amazed how this thing tow . EGT was around 550-625 Max trip from PA- Eastern NC 500 Miles . With the 6.0 over sized Trans coller up front the temp was not passing 150 .... I am still :D
Agreed on the Hight compression of our 7.3 IDi's .
I connected the tube back to the CDR and no longer running RDT, I know my IP is slightly leaking but there some catching paper towels laying under it .so the fuel not making it all the way back to the VP
Any other location that I might...
i located a pipe thread plug the fits real real snug in the Grommet , i pulled it and applied RTV to both the plug and Grommet . i am not sure where else to look farther for oil
icanfixall ... I know the plate you are talking about .. But i am referring to something totally difference . In fact i am referring to Grommet it self that is under the Intake where the CDR use to connect to .
I am plugging it because i rerouted Banks Turbo OIL drain tube to another...
So what you saying is that there about 10lb of pressure pressing upward on that home rigged plug i placed where that OLD CDR use to plug or technically the OLD BANKS Oil drain tube ...?
Does this 10 LB appear as you drive or it's always there during the Idle in the drive way . I took every...
