Yes the cable is already routed , Just trying to avoid buying junk parts and do the work twice , NAPA show ther cable length as 36".6 . I did not pull the one out the truck yet . So i figured to check here 1st
Well like you said reklund as far the way the tube was bent . i took a close look at the tube and the way it was bent , Looking at it quickly it looks perfect , However when i previously fitted the tube inside the grommet i always had enough gap up top by the flange that i had to pull it up to...
the Green machine badly need a throttle cable as the sleeved guide tube under the spring is gone . I found one At local NAPA or i can order the NOS OEM part # F1TZ-9A758-E . I am tired of poor aftermarket parts that it either doesn't work for long or doesn't fit and you have to home rig it...
I agree with ^^ trackspeeder but i would also highly recommend try another TCM since the truck ran perfectly one day for you and then acted up again , Electronic fail
Good find OLDBULL8 .. This is one clean VP .. I will red do this one more time , I found a nice ice pick here at work , i will put nice amount of holes in this thing .
reklund ..I usually reserve re-engineering things as last option . I think you mentioned few key things for me to try , Perhaps 2 holes did not cut it , Maybe the tube ..etc . I might give it a shot withe more holes punched in the VP and poor some oil and watch it like you said
OLDBULL8 .. I got your PM and responded , My set up exactly the same and even with few holes punched in the VP i think there could be some dirt or something restricting the flow causing it to build up and gush out.
My EGT is working and in place with no issues , I now have a great...
I done a few reading and found out that the purpose of that plug like you mentioned Oil, fuel and water to the rear of the block( it's not part of the baffle it self it vent or act act as a passage to the out side . it's all coming together Now , The oil tube must not been lined up correctly...
I have an EGT gauge which is well possible that was the plug for the EGT Probe , However i don't see why that drain hole should be spitting oil backward ( assuming that is what happening ) like you said in the passenger side which is my case in fact i also see it slightly by the driver side...
I decide to give it a second try , I went for a drive and still getting plenty of oil from what it seems the up top of the motor , I took every thing a part and found the my drain tube was seated correctly and the RTV is holding pretty good but the VP area wet with oil.
I also noticed the...
clb .. I agree once you done don't touch and don't even look at them . What happen i been chasing an oil leak so i been living under the hod :sly . I think i might pushed my luck .
OLDBULL8 .. The leak coming from the top of the caps . I slightly rotated them and went for a drive and they...
I bought the full kit ( http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/BWD0/14952/02524.oap?year=1993&make=Ford&model=F-350&vi=5007008&ck=Search_injectors_02524_5007008_2493&keyword=injectors&pt=02524&ppt=C0024 ) 80 miles ago and made sure to use petroleum gel on the O rings , It was leak free then...
After running around all over the place and rigging parts i decided in the mean time to give my new gasket a 2nd chance and Ice pick the **** of the VP . I put every thing back together with nice amount of cooper RTV around the drain tube . Let it cure for 24 hours and started the truck...
Hopefully the guy keeps the Screw driver away from it , My taps are broken off mine as well , I though of changing it but honestly been putting nice amount of work in this truck , I figured i don't want to mess with murphy's Law ..If it aint brook don't touch/ fix or even near it deal Cause...
tbrumm ; I have a brand new in the box Tranny wiring harness that i bought couple of weeks ago as i thought i have a bad wiring in case you need it let me know shot me a pm . Here is the link to it...
above fitting is no go .. TO difficult to work with 5/8" , My pipe bender making the bend longer when i use the 1/2" than the room i have under the cold side of the turbo as you guys know it's pretty darn tight . The local machine shop can do any size hydraulic hose fitted to the flared end...
I canfix all , That is a good idea .. Here is anti carbon cleaner product that i found not sure if it's available here though but am sure something similar is available ..

jim x 3 this exactly what happened to me, It leaves with 1000's of thoughts and a bad feeling & they are the same brand as well Beru  . I went with ZD9 Motorcraft .
No electric pump , I was going to let it free fall and gravity return the oil back to the VC like OLDBULl8 posted his truck pic .
Not sure about the cooper size yet as the one i bought yesterday is big and not easy to work with , This is why i am considering the barbed fitting to 3/8...
Yes i used cooper anti sieze on the new zd-9 Motorcraft GP threads only , The ones came out where the Beru glow plug which i am curious if these where the OEM and never been replaced since day one .
I also have a Q how often you maintain these GP . In my other diesel cars i don't have to...
OLDBULL8 what size cooper you using , I attempted the cooper route with 5/8 but its harder to work with around the bottom of the cold side of the turbo
i landed this item today and was wondering what you think if i use 1/2" Barbed Brass Fittings straight out of this new adapter going to...
