these are NOT all metal anymore. Spectra went all plastic tanks seems ~ 1 year ago. If you happen to get an all metal one today its NOS. I have that same one, same part number, plastic tanks. Mine was 2 core as well FYI. pretty huge looking cores though..So far no issues but it is cold. Summer...
I had an aluminum 3 core that gave up the ghost after 2 or 3 years. THat is not adequate enough! bought a plastic end tank unit for 220(with discountcode, regular 260 i think) from AZ. life time warranty.
THe aluminum was lifetime as well but you have to ship it etc etc, so your out a week+...
IMO you will be choked at WOT peak power with a non WG holset. my 14cm ex housing hx35 was like that. I messed around with the WG unhooked, I got a few moe pounds out of it but it NEEDS to dump when you are trying to pull some weight or you are just overspinning it, causing very high drive...
quick 3rd gear pull video.

she feels great. lots of top end, doent want to fall off. I can cruise 90 on the freeway no problem. I dont, but I can.
lol....ok.
never talked to him...but hes a bad guy.
nothin wrong with him, dealt with him plenty of times.
Mel is also very helpful.
cant go wrong.
Where you can go wrong is pensacola diesel. I HAVE used them, and their injectors are 100% garbage.
on thursday i replaced the IP with a spare one i had. looks clean and an IFS rebuild tag on it, no idea of miles. I hooked up my cold advance as well. first 6 starts ot so were here and there, sometimes was almsot isntant, othertimes back to same old, olther times woudl cough and catch pretty...

If we are under a vacuum..that is good and what we want no? a vacuum will prevent back flow..
Anyway, pulling the plugs tonight probably to double check them. I think i ran them once without the Z strip..perhaps without using it they get fried? We shall see. If those look all good, I am going...
hmm, i am using an excursion tank and excursion sender, dont recall seeing anything like that..
looked at some stock pics, seems the excursion ones have that too, heck maybe mine does but i honestly cant remember
laser-the facet pump has a check valve to prevent backflow. I dont know what the duckbill thingy is though.
fuel level doesnt matter-full or near empty, same thing.
tank vent works, has 2 actually-one for filling which is tied into the filler (and can constantly vent) and has the make up air...
do you think it could be a worn IP issue as well?
However just now i replaced one return line, was still wet seemed to seep. ran e pump, turned on GP for 10 seconds, cranked fast for 3 seconds then all 8 caught at once.
shut it down, press the shrader valve, no fuel.
I turn e pump on...
looks just great man!
What LCAM said though, or you will drive into a low branch/high rock etc and might damage your rad. my bumper/skid plate encapsulates all that and if i hit the bottom of it i knwo it will whatever i am about to drive over will also hit my steering linkage. Damn low...
Im getting real frustrated with this thing. about freezing this morning. I run the e pump for a minute, there is no air in the filter head when i go to purge after the e pump has been running.
Took me 4 separate crank and glow cycles to get it lit though! ugh, left them on for 15 seconds on...
remeber, nicop is used as brake line tubing where you can also see up to 3000 psi of working pressure.. However it is a very small ID, which can handle the pressure easier than tha larger fuel line ID.. I have yet to find nicop in larger than 1/8" id, usually 3/16.
