Well after 3 years of my truck knocking and the whole loosing water issue we finally pulled the motor to put another one in.its got stage ones in the motor already they’ve got 500 miles on um this I know cause I got it off my buddys dad that put um in 500 miles before the truck was totaled. My buddy just bought a cheep beater and the thing runs great but it started pressurizing and shooting fuel out the fill cap.like a lot of fuel he said the had a trail following them and it shut off and died.i had um pour water on the up and it fired right up.could the up be causing a pressure...- 83ford

Well I found a 93-94 extended cab 4wd turbo 7.3 idi for a steal if the motor runs good.its got an auto though and it’s out.how much does one usually cost to get rebuilt.id like to have it built up alittle bit cause if I get it imma put my moose junior on and it’ll spend most of its life haulin...- 83ford

6.9 sputtering while at a constant
May sound stupid but change your fuel filter.mine did it to and it fixed it.it was suckin air at the return lines but with a dirty filter it wouldn’t let enough fuel go to it.i couldn’t ever find the leak till I changed that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 83ford

No it can be done in the engine bay but if I had to do it I was just gonna swap motors cause mine has a knock from hell.imma put new injectors in an see if that fixes the knock if not I’m swapping motors which I may do anyway cause I’ve gotta replace the fuel pump and a couple other things that...- 83ford

So apparently it's a cold water leak or the ghost in my truck decided to gimme a break cause I hadn't drive the truck since the end of may or something like that cause I threw another driveshaft and wanted to put new blocks to fix the pion angle so I would quit throughing out driveshafts.well...- 83ford

So I busted the back cover that bolts on to my t19 and the clutch is shot so it's pulled out right now.does anyone know where to get that piece.and I want to upgrade to a better clutch because I'm gonna swap to a 7.3 with my hypermax while we've got it tore down.or I can put my 460 zf5 trans in...- 83ford

I know it is.or well I think it is cause my injectors get really weak when it gets warm. Starts great when it's cold though. But it'll be a pain to get all that sludge stuff from the blown head gasket out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 83ford

Honestly I don't need an engine but the mechanic swears up and down the knock is a rod knock.i do have a blown head gasket and need injectors and I want e fuel so I mean it's worth it on that part because it did run good when wrecked. But mine will last probably another 100 k sounding just like...- 83ford

Honestly I've never hardly noticed a difference in the height in tires as gettin in the truck goes.ive had 235,265's,285's and 315's on my bullnose and until I d60 swapped it I never noticed a difference from 265-285's. 315's with the d60 is taller but not much taller then a stock f350 in all...- 83ford

well this is a 305/70-16 on around 6 inches of lift so really I think a 265 would be fine.i would honestly stick with a 285 though cause it just looks way better but that's just my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 83ford
