Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

    Right. It's clearly not a v-band.

Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

No, but I knew what they meant...my assumption is that the jamb nun will work anyway. Please correct me if my assumption is wrong.

    Marker lights under tailgate

They are supposed to come on with your running lights. I don't have a diagram in front of me but I believe that's a brown wire.

Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

I haven't tried a new nut, but thanks. I like the idea but I think I'll go with The Josh Bear's idea of of using a jamb nut.

Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

No I'm not. I just picked this truck up in Feb. The clamp was loose when I bought it ... tightened the clamp drove 350 +/- miles (home) tightened again. Changed oil the next day, clamp was loose again. Tightened. Two days later truck sounds like a Massey Ferguson, tightened clamp etc ...

Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

Could be! I can't get a very good look at it ... it acts like a nylock!

Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

To answer your question, yes...the one right after the turbo.

Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

Thank you ... This is certainly a "why didn't I think of that" moment. I appreciate it.

Am I the only one that has to tighten DP Clamp daily?

Maybe daily is an exaggeration. I don't hear anyone else complaining about the down pipe clamp coming loose ALL THE DAMNED TIME ... This is my first factory turbo and the truck with which I've had this problem. What gives ... it's a real PITA. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

    2003 SuperCrew Lariat - about 176,000 - $3500 - can deliver for fee

Now about 178,000 ... I ran to Laredo & Texarkana (from Denton). I'll keep driving it I guess. I sure thought it would be worth $3500 to someone.

    PSA on floor mats

Depends ... my cheap a** floor mat ('93 IDIT) got tangled up with the foot feed during a "high speed" pass ... damned near ran up the tail pipe of a new Cadi' passing the same nut. Would have been one expensive "cheap a**" mat! I appreciate that ... I'll look. I'm currently running...

    OBS sheet metal. Bricknose truck

The tailgate is the same. I'm 99% sure that the doors will fit. I put bricknose doors on my '83 Bronco ... everything I can see looks the same (mounting and shape wise). As far as I know most chassis parts are interchangeable. I'd check the axle code on the scrap truck ... see if you like...

Several IDI's for sale - can deliver

Thank you for your reply. If I have to resort to CL or Truck Trader, they'll be listed for substantially more. My concern is that they go to some one that appreciates them / will use them. I hate to see good old iron go to waste. Maybe a "meet half way", solution to shipping, would save a...
