    Bullnose trailer plug

    That's my SOP I use etrailer.com pretty often. I like to run the new "hot" to a distribution box (like used on a trailer) then use 7 wire cable from there to the plug. I also use a distribution box on the trailer.

    Symptom 2 sounds like ignition actuator and/or switch to me. That's all I've got. The only auto truck that I own is a "retired" C6 truck.

    Unfortunately the "twang" is harder to hear in the video than in person ... maybe you have better speakers than me. I performed the same test on another ZF (with LUK SMF conversion) and get about the same movement but a very different sound ... no "twang that sounds like a rattle when the truck...

    I rotated it until it stopped rotating. Holding it at the out put shaft ... about 3/8" inch rotation each way because the truck is on the driveway. No lateral movement in the drive line while pushing / pulling. Since I can hear (what I believe to be) springs rattle, when I preform this...

    Can anyone confirm Kevlar pilot bushing part #: South Bend Clutch PB50KHD Any advice on a good TOB would be appreciated. The one that LUK sends sure feels cheap. I havn't had a problem with one yet ... sure looks like the weak point.

    Driving this morning, next to Jersey barrier, I down shifted ... was able to hear the same rattle echo off of the barrier. It doesn't make noise when I let off the throttle, just when I down shift or take off in reverse ... sounds "rotational", if that makes sense. Almost the same rattle that...

    It doesn't rattle until I begin to release the pedal with the trans in reverse. Once I've built momentum, everything is "as normal"

    I really like your Bronco. I can't speak to the trans question because I prefer "bolt action". I chose a T-19 for my Bronco conversion based on the final drive characteristics of the truck in my avatar (running 33's & 4.10). Great project! Have fun!
