Any 6.9 Specialist Near Greencastle pa

You can have fuel coming out of the schrader valve and air mixed in and still not notice is, especially with a mechanical pump. There can be enough air to prevent it from starting at all too.

Any 6.9 Specialist Near Greencastle pa

I picked up a truck that had the bend at the fuel pick up leaving the tank that had a pin hole leak in it. Only found it after running a new fuel line and electric pump. Try an electric pump from a 5 gallon can of diesel and run it directly into the filter. This will eliminate all fuel lines...

I didn't even notice that, he says it has 2007 f350 axles shouldn't they be 8 lug?

    Just scored!...I hope?

Does it have drive shafts connected to those axles? And the correct master cylinder? I assume an 07 would have disk rear brakes.

    intercooler for cummins swap?

It runs its own coolant with own radiator. You can see the black hose leaving the intercooler on the right and going to a white coolant tank on right. It's pulled from the bottom of that with an 8gpm or so coolant pump a d pushed through the radiator where it's cooled, then through the...

    Clogged Orifice tube

A new compressor should come with oil in it and say how much it had added in it. I used a syringe and i added it a few locations throughout the system, some in evaporator, some in various lines. some in condenser.

    intercooler for cummins swap?

Why not run a water intercooler? I run one on my idi, almost zero piping so no lag and very little space under the engine bay. I'd imagine theres more room on the sides with a 12v too.

    94 F250 7.3 Sitting for 15 years

I'll be selling my down pipe in the next few weeks when my upgraded turbo gets here. It's the banks one, I got it in November last year and I have a 3 inch pipe welded to it to connect to a diamond eye power stroke exhaust system. Which hangs in the factory location even on the idis. $50...

Can i run these axle gears?

You mean setting pinion depth? I always buy 2 pinion bearings of the same brand grind/sand out the center of one so it slips over pinion easily and use that to assemble and remove to set depth with. Instead of pulling/pressing the bearing each time. And different bearing brands are different...

OFFICIAL Red Head Steering Box Group Buy Thread

After a few thousand miles I must say the red head box and borgeson shaft were two of the best things I've done with the truck. I can turn the wheel maybe 3/8 to 1/2" before the wheels respond on the highway. Way better than the 2+ inches before. I found my power steering pump leaking too...

    Clogged Orifice tube

yeah, its as damaging as brake clean, so protect paint/rubber/plastic, thats why i blew into rags. Dont get it in your eyes or do in a small enclosed garage unless you want to get loopy. It actually probably best to do outside it can make a mess. Lots of acetone vaporized will be a strong smell...

    Clogged Orifice tube

I left my evaporator and condenser installed when i flushed it. I just used tons of rags at the ends to catch everything. I did have to remove my grill to get to the line on the left side of the condenser. I took it off because theres another orifice there and i wanted to be sure it flushed...

    Clogged Orifice tube

I used something similar but just for the rubber lines. Acetone I just filled and blew out. There was a ton of stuff, I wish I took pics. And my ac compressor was still running not making great pressure but still chilling slightly. I used a 60ml syringe with plunger out as a funnel. Don't...

The expensive part is the freon lol. Acetone and air are cheap. Compressors are pretty expensive too

    Clogged Orifice tube

I just rebuilt my system, the orifice was covered in what looked like gray never seize. I cleaned the ac Evaporator and the AC condenser with acetone (thre's a small flow restirctor on condenser outlet), filling them as best i could with a small funnel, let it sit, blew them out with a high flow...

Pick up a rebuilt set of 7.3L heads that sat for a while, what should i do with them?

I got them inside and went over them all, the one head, i believe driver side, has some rough pitting by one of the coolant ports. I'll see what the machine shop says about it. The one heads valve has some rust on it. Hopefully that rough area isnt too bad or the head can be slightly resurfaced...

Can i run these axle gears?

Run redline heavy shockproof in it. It'll work and quiet it down tremendously

Pick up a rebuilt set of 7.3L heads that sat for a while, what should i do with them?

They still have the injectors if anyone wants them. I'll purchase and mail them. I have misters so I don't need them

Pick up a rebuilt set of 7.3L heads that sat for a while, what should i do with them?

Hahaha they wanted $400 for the heads and injectors but i offered them $200 because of the surface rust and knowing i need to take them to a machine shop and at minimum have them cleaned up and replace the valve seals for peace of mind.

Pick up a rebuilt set of 7.3L heads that sat for a while, what should i do with them?

I had planned on having the spare engine i have overhauled anyway but having a set of heads that has all good threads, pre cups, etc was worth it to me. I think itll pay for itself just in machine work i saved them. I'm sure something will break and need to be drilled out on the spare engine i have.

Pick up a rebuilt set of 7.3L heads that sat for a while, what should i do with them?

They have some surface rust, no real pitting, i'm planning on dropping them off at the machine shop i use and having them gone through. I want the surface cleaned, the head cleaned in a washer to remove any dust and loose rust etc, and i want the valve seals replaced. Anything else i should get...

    10.25 complete axle replacement

I'm talking about the actual steel cutting wheels, not the cheap red/brown cermic ones that come in a 100 pack. If you havent used these before i think you should try them. I just used 1/4 of one to grind out my turbo intake hat ID for the intercooler pip, which i know is aluminum, but can be a...
