    Cam position sensor can cause that but I hate just throwing parts at things

    Unplugg the icp and try again if that don't work you have a pressure issue all you need it about 500 psi of icp to idle

    To me it sounds like a faulty ipr have you ran it on a scanner and checked codes along with icp and ipr duty cycle

    On the industrial motors I build I do 2 cycles of warm up to full operating temp at idle with a full cool down then 2 cycles of 30 min at full speed with a full cool down in between

    Is there smoke while cranking? Also sounds like you might have some air intrusion going on 5 years of sitting will dry out a lot of rubber also try filling the fuel filter with atf it will clean out the injection pump and injectors and welcome to oil burners

    No idea had a buddy put spacers on the hood hindges and it lifted the back about an inch he had a over heating issue on a c1500 an wa trying to get a little more air flow

    X2 on check codes also if you can get your hands on a scanner that can live feed data check your icp while driving and at idle I just did a hpop on a 02 that ha the same symptoms and would start cold and build pressure but a it warmed up the icp would drop and the truck would die

    @Therkhan7_3Turbo yes it is I picked it up for 150 bucks it works ok and has 3500 pound axles and brakes but the liner was a bit to much weight for it I actually blew a tire on the way home and had to drive like 40 miles on the rim The works part is I lost the hub caps

    I'd use the breaker bar you will have more control than rocking it if it is something mechanical locking it up I it was mine I'd pull all the glow plugs and spray WD-40 or pbBlaster (aka panther piss ) till it came back out the hole and let it sit a few days I did this on a 6.2 for a buddy and...

    So got the Petty bone running there is an internal screen on the super charger that ad gotten plugged so I pulled that and use pressurized diesel to prime the fuel system and now she runs like a champ

    @mexicanjoe I use a mightyvac that has the pressure option to chase vacume leaks by testing seperate systems it take a little more time but makes it easier for me and even after finding 1 leak I continue through the whole vac system
