Me either I dropped off an injector so he could take some measurements and got a 2 hp Motor and a hyd pump that will do 3k psi and I dropped off a spare lift pump
Why not use a drill to spin it and gravity feed fuel to it your not going to need a lot of speed just enough to move a few ounces of fuel through it and flush it then you could run any special blend of fuel and cleaner you want
So I took him a injector core today and he mesuret it and the oring tolerances we ace plans on using a hyd pump for the oil and a spare 6.0 lift pump for the fuel inlet were still trying to figure the electronics on it
Hey guys I know A guy that is a super talented machinest and mechanic and we werewere talking today about building a injector tester for 7.3 psd injectors my only issue is I'm not sure on all that goes on with them does anyone have a diagram of oil in fuel 8n and voltage
@bismic1 I mean no disrespect my scanner is up to par also after a good run everything checked out pcm wise but still scary miss/intake chuff I'm going to get a video tomorrow and post it see what you all think ím stumped
I did nothing came up not even a Miss fire my icp is good the ipr cycle is good im im go to take a rip and watch all my pressures and egr cycle I'm wondering if that might be the issue
So a buddy brought hi 05 f250 by to have me read the computer for codes well it runs rough and for about 2 min after start up it won't hardly rev up also after warmed up if you go to get on it it will pull great then it like backfires Out the intake a few times and it's pretty scary like scary...
All and all i'd say anyone quotesyou more than 2.5 hrs id take it elsewhere also like I said an alternator is easy to change not a lot has to come down it's not a like you have to remove a motor mount do you want a pic of it
The alternator takes 2 hrs you have to move the AC pump out of the way it's really not a bad job as long as your not laying on the ground also the timing belt is good for 90k miles but if inspect it that only akes 2 min
I'd see if there are any local good boy shops with a good scanner the good kind that will read everything from icp to your ipr duty cycle also might pull up a few codes that are not throwing a check engine light
