    Got the hitch installed and replaced the weird fabricobbled rear bumper with an oem on an '84 parts truck. Now just need to finish the wiring. Also finished up the in bed tie downs.

    Got the hitch in the mail today, but a quick test fit looks like it interferes with the spare tire. Going to have to figure out what to do about that.

    Opened up the heater core box to make sure It wasn't full of dead mice and then vacuumed the whole inside of the truck.

    Bed tie downs

    Anybody add any internal tie downs in the bed? I am considering something like the Mac's versatie for general securing of cargo in the bed. May be putting a canopy on for skiing and camping so the anchors outside the bed don't do much.

    I've got Cooper discoverer AT/3 on my truck now. Seems to have good traction but haven't tested a ton. Does well in wet weather and did fine in the icy/wet parking lot skiing yesterday. Hoping to test them more.

    I put in a couple of 5/16" rivnuts in the roof. The roof is double walled there and seems sturdy enough. I tested it out hanging my weight from it so hopefully all will be good.

    Checked the floor after last nights rain. Happiness is dry carpet. Finally looks like I got all those water leaks fixed. Too bad Ford didn't install the windshield right in the first place.

    Fixed the stripped PS adjustment bolt, resealed the cowl, installed a headlight relay harness, replaced a bunch of broken hood insulation retainers. Still need to replace the valve cover gaskets and do to some front end work.

    Power steering pump adjustment bolt

    Got the job done today. Was able to remove the battery and PS pivot bolt to get enough room to drill and tap for a helicoil. Also removed the air intake brace for a little extra room. Installed my headlight relay harness while I had one battery out already.
