    I think he’s needing the rod. I believe they are very hard to come by. I believe R&D is machining the PSD rods to work. I’m not sure what kind of problems might arise from replacing one of eight with a converted PSD rod.

    Leaking return caps

    Not all O-rings are created equal, neither are all return caps. If the caps look ok try replacing the O-rings with Viton ones. Do a search on here for the size as it’s been mentioned several times before and I can’t remember off the top of my head.

    I think that may actually be the temperature warning light switch. It’s threaded into the block just in front of the driver’s side head. The temperature sender for the gauge is in the driver’s side head, right above the exhaust manifold.

    Be aware that some of the aftermarket lines are 6mm instead of 1/4”. They should work fine, but some of the transducers for the timing meters will not work on the slightly smaller line. Also, make sure you are using the clamps to support the lines. They will live longer.

    Like I said I have them in 5 different vehicles. That’s H1, H11, 9004, 9005, 9006, and 9007 so far that I’ve used. My oldest has a 91 Geo Prizm that runs the 9004, and he was amazed with the difference.
