    a/c compressor bearing

97 F250.... so 24 year old a/c bearing finally quit. original a/c components....nothing has ever failed....amazing. Does a new clutch assembly include the bearing ?

    ZF5 output yoke and nut

97 F-series diesel is rarer than the gas version....add the hand-shaker plus 24 years later and you've got a rare bird

    ZF5 output yoke and nut

a1 driveshaft will build you a new shaft for around $300 shipped next day to your location. Best bet is to go with a single piece shaft.

    Transmission oil cooler line

unfamiliar with a 92 f250, but it's low pressure being transmission fluid. Not seeing it in person, is there a way to cut the line where it broke, flare the ends and splice a piece of rubber hose with clamps in it's place?

    97 Econoline 7.3 pcm compatibility

completely different transmission, sensors, dash, etc. Won't work. What is the 4 digit box code on your existing PCM. There may be substitutes that will work besides an identical box code. The main differences being cali emissions, cold weather, etc.

7.3 Losing Power W/ Odd Happenings

coolant tank increasing capacity isn't good. Let it settle and see if it's diesel. If so, you've got bad o-rings or injector cups what was the code? Fuel pressure isn't monitored by the PCM so it's probably oil related.

    Riffraff Up pipes

Original up-pipes on both my trucks. However, I've heard to go with the bellowed style and not the donut type.

    Fuel Bowl Drain Valve Tube.....

This. I've never used the fuel bowl drain since I replaced all the o-rings on both trucks due to leaks. The old filter absorbs enough fuel so that the new filter goes in without spillage.

97 7.3 shuts off and sometimes refires

None of those codes would cause the truck to shut off IMO

    Typical Injector Pressures

I would order a fuel pressure regulator rebuild kit https://www.dieselorings.com/1994-1998-ford-7-3l/fuel-bowl-parts/6-038-fuel-regulator-seat-1996-1997.html some shim the regulator spring to increase pressure to 70psi or so on the OBS you can check the fuel pressure at the schrader valve at...

97 7.3 shuts off and sometimes refires

Do you still have the EBPV intact? If so your best bet is to gut the valve and plug the actuator. Leave the EBPV connected electrically but open to atmosphere. What codes are you seeing for the EBPV ?

    2002 7.3 Powerstroke diesel

stainless is a waste of money IMO.... diesel's don't rust out the exhaust like gassers do.

    Typical Injector Pressures

What year truck? fuel regulator ever been rebuilt? screen cleaned at fuel bowl (OBS) or in tank screens (SD) ? oil contaminated ICP sensor ? IPR nut tight against solenoid? transmission range sensor (OBS) ?

97 7.3 shuts off and sometimes refires

no WTS light would indicate the PCM isn't getting power during the restart. I'd look at bad grounds, ignition switch, even the fuel bowl heater shorting intermittently but not completely blowing the fuse?

    Typical Injector Pressures

stock @ idle can be as low as 500ish stock @ full throttle should be around 2800ish as stated IPR duty cycle would indicate how hard the hpop is working to make that pressure (or lack of)

    OBS With strange symptoms

What's the actual voltage at the batteries with the engine running ? Sounds like it's definately the chip causing the issue.... whether it's the chip itself or the PCM port the chip attaches to.

    OBS With strange symptoms

sounds normal did the truck run fine after removing the chip? No issues without the chip installed? could be something related to the tuning and how much it "works" the engine compared to stock. I'd be thinking IPR solenoid, etc.

    Fuel Leak

I doubt it’s the pump then. When that fails it will fill the valley through the weep hole. Probably a fuel bowl o ring or drain selector leaking.

    Fuel Leak

Lots of places. Clean the area good, start it up and start looking. Could be the lift pump itself, hose connections, fuel bowl o-rings, etc.

    1997 f350 passenger bank misfire

unplug injectors one at at right at the injector. no change in idle indicates the injector isn't working. change in idle means you've disconnected an injector that is firing. Any codes? as mentioned, try buzz testing the injectors to check the electrical side. if not the uvch it could be worn...

    fuel bowl to head lines

fuel bowl was full. Not sure if there are check valves besides at the heads, and I believe those are only screens. No fuel came out of the lines going to the heads when disconnected from the fuel bowl. No fuel came out of the fuel bowl either. I suppose I could disconect those lines on the 97...

    fuel bowl to head lines

something odd today went to replace the o-rings on the two lines going from the fuel bowl to the heads. When i took them off at the fuel bowl ZERO fuel leaked out. How could this be? I was expecting fuel to be sitting in the lines. This is on my 99 which is always louder than my 97. Now it...
