    What are you attempting to gain from going to e-fuel? Honestly both my trucks are stock aside from tuning and I'd actually prefer the mechanical fuel system on my OBS compared to my SD.

    fuel pressure isn't monitored by the PCM, so chances are good that could be your issue. Has the fuel bowl regulator ever been rebuilt? Has the fuel bowl screen ever been cleaned?

    bypass the clutch safety switch does the truck crank every time with the the switch bypassed? If not, with the clutch safety switch still bypassed does the truck crank everytime when you jump the large posts on the fender mounted relay?

    are you talking about the inner metal "plate" that goes inside the rotor? I haven't had them on either of my trucks for at least 10+ years....no issues without them.

    B50 life for the 7.3 PSD is 350k miles, which has been determined to be a conservative estimate. The rest of the truck still has 350k miles depending on what has been replaced along the way.

    Can't help you with that, a good test is with the engine running to remove the oil cap, invert, and place on top of the oil fill stem. It should sit there if the engine is "tight". If it blows off that means you've got some issues.

    won't work. you can go auto to manual but not vice versa much easier to just find a rebuilt zf5 and run with it.

    gunk engine degreaser no need for a pressure washer apply the gunk, let sit, scrap if heavy build-up otherwise hose off with a garden hose.

    check engine light ? any codes ? check your fuel pressure at the schrader valve at idle and under load

    So....how does it start without the chip installed? If it starts fine then it's the chip. If you're certain the tuning on the chip is correct then the next step is to look at the contacts on the PCM, sounds like they need more cleaning. You need to get it down to "bare metal" on the contacts...

    never heard of this, could be the float in your tank. Perfect time to do the hutch & harpoon mod, and clean the in tank screens while you're in there.

    get the code retrieve before throwing parts at it. The truck is telling you what is wrong....post the code(s) when you get them.
