Had a great Tuesday with the Rally. Tacos were great with all the fixins. Cabins are good with a TV (we have yet to watch) and a ac which we have used. Looking forward to relaxing and going to pool today and going to distillery tomorrow.

Hey my wife wants to know if the onion, tomato, and lettuce is taken care of by someone for the tacos. Is there a board for the food? Seems like I can't find it (or just to tired to search). We can bring them also.
No Mufflers. I thought I had a challenge with the transmission but you try to...
Wow I that is a hugh bummer on the flywheel. Hope it has not damaged other parts. We will miss you and ernest.
Hey my wife Cathie is planning on bringing fresh fruit and cutting it up for the meal. Let me know if someone else is bring fruit so we can change the plan. I read the board and...
We had reserved one of the cabins for the week but to busy. We will be not staying on Sunday or Monday with the arrival on Tuesday in plenty of time for the planned events (Love me some tacos). Plan to cancel the reservation for the two nights. Just to let the group know the cabin will be...
Tee shirt ordered Monday.
Plans are changing. Looks like heading Tuesday early. I will post if meeting the convoy but for now see everyone Tuesday.

Did I miss it somewhere. What boost levels are you producing? Do a test like up a hill cold motor hot motor and or cold day hot day. Without a intercooler once above 10 -12 boost it takes more power to make boost than your engine puts out (my thoughts).
The mini moose pump could naturally smoke some, only Mel would know how much. After putting a 1994 turbo set up on mine couple years back I couldn't go for long NA style again. Once my boost gets above 4 lbs of boost smoke goes away. If I am pulling and it drops to 3 or below hello smoky.
Not complaining about the shirts but is there an option to get one with a pocket. Works good for a cell phone. The web site didn't show one. XL size. Not a big deal just asking.
Trans back from my guy in Cearfoss. Turns out that the main failure point was the mounted center hub brass bushing. Trans parts suppliers make a replacement kit. Also had to get a new forward drum, all fibers and seals.
When the hub bushing got worn enough allowing two metal rings to move in...
I am planning to do any upgrades that's practical that's for the e40d. Meeting with the trans guy Tuesday for teardown. Will to get pics for a thread on the repair. Loosing the forward clutch appears to be a common thing.

That is my plan. Currently the trans is out. There is a very knowledgeable trans rebuilder near Cearfoss MD I'm getting to rebuild it, but scheduled for next week. Pics and diagnosis to follow. Any upgrades I should ask the rebuilder about?

Two weeks ago traveling home from work (16 miles away) on interstate highway US 70 my E40D transmission decided to quit all forward gears at 70 mph. Drifted to a safe spot to investigate. No forward but reverse acted normal. AAA to the rescue for the 5 mile tow home with a tail dragger tow...
Rotella ELC antifreeze. Tested my truck after a drain flush, flush flush, and fill (concentrate at 50% water). The test strips said it was at spec for the chemicals. I will check again. If its off spec I will post here again.
O yea: I use my condensate out of my Hot Water Heat Pump for my...
Hi all
My wife Cathie just reserved one on the cabins for us. Not sure how many days but we reserved for the whole week and will adjust when it gets closer. I fade in and out of oilburners and thought I better get a cabin because buying a camper is not in the plans just yet.
Guess I have to...
Made it back last night at midnight. Uneventful except the light show 50 miles South of Morgantown WV. Wipers on high for 30 miles at 30 mph. So glad one of my pre flight (pre rally) repair of the wiper motor. Thanks to all and Heath and Missy. A side note, Made it from Liberty KY to home on...
