Impressive! Glad it was a good trip. You're mileage seems OK to me pulling through the hills like that. And would expect it to come up a bit as discussed.
:Thumbs Up
I know nothing about auto transmissions. Other than they take ATF.
But would a solenoid hanging up reset itself when the engines turned allowing the system to bleed pressure and reset the solenoid?
Checked you're pinion yoke? Mine's loosened up a couple times now. Normally is more of a vibration than anything.
I have the same feeling in the back of my F350. I've thought about building some axle wrap bars to help hold it in place. But haven't yet. I just did Bilstein shocks and it seems...
Interesting. I have my heater core bypassed when the a/c is on max. Next time I'm getting hot I'll try putting the a/c on normal and let it flow through the core again. See if the restriction helps.
I run mine 1/2 way between the full and add marks. It's about a quart to bring it to full. If I leave it there it stays there a long time. If I go to full mark it consumes that quart very quickly.
Sounded ok to me. These things are loud and noisy. I'd time it and see how it does. Maybe timing related fuel knock?
I hear maybe a click noise but nothing id be too worried about.
Definitely check timing. Makes a huge difference. The lack of boost seems weird. You're outside my knowledge area with the intercooler and upgraded turbo.
Have you had the alignment checked yet? Is there a chance it needs more caster? Are you running overloads on the rear? If you need an...
Mike Well done! Finding gremlins will go on longer than expected I'm afraid, and I hope you don't experience that. Run the wheels off it just like you're doing. You've done an epic amount of work. So there are a lot of little things that could crop up.
I run V-belts and Serpentines. Truthfully...
The wiper switch is different for delay and non delay. So if you remove the delay box you will need the non-delay switch also.
Damn, It's like a fully functioning truck now! Nice :Thumbs Up
too slow.....
I hate to say it, but have you tried cooling the injection pump down when it dies? That's a typical heat soak test. I know you have a new injection pump, but as you seem to have fuel pressure it leads me to the injection pump. Does it die returning to idle or just turn off? My 93 would die...
Something seems wrong here. I would expect more from you're setup without major work. MY 89 is a CCLB 4x4 zf5 3.55 with stock 7.3 and ATS 093 turbo. Factory tire size. I turned the fuel up several flats when I added the turbo and tightened up the wastegate. But I can pull 22K gross reasonably...
If you need to throw some tape on the fender corners so the bumper doesn't accidently hit them during install. Oh and an engine lift can be great for bumper install. You know all this. Just reminding. Sometimes in the heat of battler I know I don't thinker real well.
Looking Great as always...
