US Gear Dual Range / Doug Nash Info
My Us gear has a motor on it very similar looking to an Eaton 2-speed motor. But my motor has the electrical connections out the rear vs out the front and through the side of the case with limit switches. I have the control unit that times and reverses vs using limit switches. If i didn't...- junk

Drip rail sealing
If it was my truck I'd try to just repair the drip rails if I could. I'd heavily tape the outside of the drip rails even wrapping the tape up and over the top of the rail. Then I'd put a couple heavy layers of tape on the roof try to keep them close to the drip rail so any repair and paint isn't...- junk

yeah, what they said. If I remember correctly there is a lot more adjustment in the bed bolts that you'd think there should be.- junk

I really think that would work. Worst case you'd have to build a small adapter plate to change the DNE2 bolt pattern to the same 6 bolt as the e40d. Give Rose Auto Clinic a call. He dealt Us gears for years. Might know about DNE2's also. http://roseautoclinic.com- junk

Proper heater core line hookup.
Yeah rattle is bad. I've never seen a copper ring when replacing thermostats. Sounds like thermostat is failed. Also do you have a tank heater installed in the heater hoses? I've got a car with a tank heater installed and they did it wrong so all the heat bypasses the heater core. Just...- junk

I'm with IDIOT that with a flywheel for a manual being so thick what purpose does that ring really serve. My t-19 hasn't had one the 70-100K i've ran it. The lines I've had apart slipped together then had a roll pin in them to hold it all together. I just put in the master and slave dorman Kit when I blew my original plastic clutch line.- junk

Laser, Yeah thanks for the picture. I just checked some luk instructions and they say that plate is needed. I was thinking for a thread sealant you can use rtv or blue loctite. I think I've used either. The luk kits come with bolts preloaded with sealant. So anybody have one? Or a part...- junk

I did raptor liner on my bumpers and running boards. I started with bare metal and epoxy primed it and then sprayed the liner. It sprays thick like frosting. It will run and sag if you spray too heavy, but it's not bad. I still need to line my box. Truthfully I'd run 180 grit sand paper on...- junk

Laser, good eye. does the luk flywheel come with flywheel and pressure plate bolts? Not sure if those are a big deal, but the valeo flywheel does. FordF250 - yeah I'll be doing the transfer case mod while it's out. Thanks Jeremy- junk

Ok So I was almost ready to order my clutch and had a question. Normally I would order the Luk 07-225 clutch kit. It has flywheel, flywheel bolts, clutch disc, pressure plate & bolts, throwout bearing etc. But it's not in stock. So it looks like I can replicate the kit using a luk 07-131...- junk

Sorry, man. but sometimes a guy has to do what they have to do! If you waited for some warmer days and got things warm i think priming's completely feasible. On the other hand sounds like plenty of other stuff to keep working on also. Jeremy- junk
