    will a 460 zf bolt to a 7.3??

This is a pic showing the adapter from a Pickup/van 7.3 laid on top of the ZF-5. The top two bolt holes need to be drilled to 1/2". They match up with the adapter and can be bolted during drilling. Then use the remaining holes as a drill guide. It's really simple. I used a mag drill, but a hand...

Track Bar/ Pan Hard Bar Bushings

Wow that mevotech part is pretty darn cost effective. Guess I'll quit grabbing the ford arms. For 36 bucks new with bushings hardly work using the ford ones.

    door advice, seals, plastic, etc.

For the window channels on my rear doors I used aftermarket front door window channels. They fit pretty good. No complaints from me. For the door to cab seal I used front door pinch weld seems and cut them off as needed. Rear door weather stripping is hard to find as you know. And if you...

    1989 f-superduty

What size return kit on there? I wrongly installed the smaller kit and my engine did similar. Ran for a while then die. Let it sit and it would restart. Next question is how do you have the returns routed?

Can someone school me on transfer cases

Yeah I put a NP205 in my 89 thinking I would twin stick it. My thought was 2wd low would be awesome. After using the case for a while though I'm going to a 1356. The NP205 is tough shifting in snowy / icy weather where you need 4wd for getting in and out of parking lots, but don't really need it...

Can someone school me on transfer cases

I think you can twin stick a 205. Then each stick runs an output. So one stick runs front output and one stick runs the rear output.

best way to prevent overspray inside the door jambs.

Yeah Back masking. Done tons of that. Also used these products from 3m. You can use a combination of 3m transition tape and 3m soft edge foam masking. https://youtu.be/I-62fmgQbGs https://youtu.be/xVN1ty4gX2A

Brake system- modified 4 wheel disc, Q's and C's

There is a little propotioning block that screws into the rear brakeline on the master cylinder. They say to use the same one for the rear brakes you have. So use an F-suberduty one for rear disk and F250/350 for rear drums brakes. Well when I looked at the F-suberduty and F250/350 ones I had...

Looks great. Nice and straight. You are right these poor trucks were never really straight from the factory.

    Project Big Red

How Greasy was the a/c compressor? If it wasn't a grease ball it's probably fine. If it was super greasy then the front seal might be out. The other output manifold gaskets are easy to change. Looking good. Lots of time detailing all those accessories. Jeremy

    1990 Ford Bronco 4BT swap

Hey your remember what size you opened up the wheel hole to? I've got some wheels to open up also. I do like those hummer wheels. They are pretty sharp. I'm anxious to see how this front end goes together for you. Should be cool!

    Can this be fixed?

If'n it was me. I'd weld up a quick U-shaped hook to get on the back side of that. Then use a come a long to pull it back into place. You may need heat to get the buckles out. Or maybe just some hammer work to get them back into submission. Worst case I'd cut them to relieve pressure. Then weld...

    Found some yucki

To me I'd probably take it to a tranny shop who knows e40d and let them diagnose it. Sounds like you have bad wiring or something. The fact it seems to do ok when it's not acting up makes me think wiring or sensor.

    4bt in a 95 f150

Darrin tosh has a 4bt in droopy with a sbf 5-speed if I remember correctly. He might know details of parts and how it fits together if you run stuck. I think he has a thread in the conversion area.

Rust is the same reason I haven't serious thought about wrapping any pipes. I think I'd high temp paint and then wrap if I was going to wrap.

install tip for new style injector cap return o-rings.

Awesome tip Towcat! I see you said to use a silicone lubricant. I've always used Vasoline as recommended per Mel. Are either accetpable or is the silicone lubricant a better way? Thanks

Your doing a custom wiring harness right? Wiring would be the biggest thing keeping me from doing the same swap. I like the brick nose dash, but the OBS dash is newer looking for sure. Looking good! Line x is damned expensive. I'm not sold on it either. If they don't do the prep right it...

spray gun break down for retards like myself

You got the dekups system already! Nice! I do like the dekups system for easier cleanup. They also work good for upside down shooting. If you shoot por make sure to use a new paint respirator. It's got Isocyanates in it like other hardened urethane products. Those are nasty you don't want to breathe them. Yeah a purple scourge would be a great gun for Por. I'd probably plan on throwing it. Also buy two so you can pick the...

spray gun break down for retards like myself

I should add that normally by the time you buy a different tip set for a higher end gun you might as well buy a dedicated primer gun. Concern I have with most cheaper guns is just ease of cleaning and tip sizes. Sometimes the tip sizes aren't labeled. Parts availability is also a concern...

spray gun break down for retards like myself

Ah, lots of stuff here. Any particular questions? I'll stat this I think a good paint gun leads to more consistent results, but isn't necessary for good results. Like any tool there are good value guns out there. You looking to buy a new gun? What kind of price point? Gravity Feed - Cup on...
