    Installing cab clearance lights

Yes thats the one next to the pedal. A bit of a pain to pull out, goes under the sill too. That wire in the second pic may go to the under dash light or the parking brake limit switch. What are the colors on the first pic and where do they go in the engine bay?

    Project Truck - 89' F250

My wife had the same plan. She even wanted me to make a thick butcher block top for it too. Also wanted one for a gardening cart. Guess we'll be loaded up with these carts one day

    Project Truck - 89' F250

I just picked a Husky one up. Saw some bad reviews on it regarding the stickers not coming off and the wheels being trash but I did not have that experience. The stickers were a different style and the wheels are stout. The drawers are the quiet close to prevent slamming and it has a nice power...

    Installing cab clearance lights

Blue lights are illegal in all states I believe. As are flashing lights not used for emergency response. I put an led I had on my shelf into my old bikes marker light, not realizing it was blue, and had a ferry worker inform me of the law. For the month it was in there, the stop light outside...

    Vibration at Speed

Usually a good tap with a hammer, not too aggresive, on the yolk a few times in different spots while moving the joints around. If you put the joint in on the shaft say on a bench, and try to rotate it, its very stiff initially. Just need to get everything set and get the needles rolling.

    Vibration at Speed

Are your front hubs locked instead of in free? Did you keep the drive shaft in the same orientation while installing the ujoints? Did you smack the ujoints good after installing to free them up?

Looking for Some Sage Wisdom, 85 F250, 6.9IDI

I run my rear thru a pump and into the return with a wye. I added two check valves there to prevent the return filling the rear and to prevent the pump from pressurizing the return. No issues on my cross country trip. I did locate the wye close to the tank connection as possible.

So what did you do with your truck today?

Yes yes... the wife did say no more project trucks until Betsy is perfect so. My uncle works with a ford truck collector. He hooked me up with the missing trim piece so I may talk to him, see if he has a hydroboost kicking around. I installed a new MC and booster, calipers, and drum kits/shoes...

So what did you do with your truck today?

@hacked89 Goals this year are to put a flat bed with headache rack on the truck. While bed is off, make the fuel system perfect. Plan to add doors above sending units for access. If dad and I have time, pull all the dents out, remove the trim, patch holes, and paint. I also want to redo the...

02/94 Crewcab F350 bench to bucket seat swap ??

They say 73-97 fit. But, there are variations of course. My 85 had buckets in them from a 92 and they drilled two extra inner holes that I have since patched to put a bucket seat in. Something about having my wife or dog next to me.

    Pyrometer install questions

I'm sure a company, maybe Mr. Banks, has some numbers of it. @Thewespaul done a test before? Could use a heat gun and measure exterior temp then find the equation for interior vs exterior temp. I bet it can't be but more than a few degrees difference, 30 tops.

The autometer gauge comes with a few mounting options including the threadolet (threaded bung). I would just find the one you want and check whats included. Summit racing sells bungs uf you get a gauge without.
