If you have a place to get some Hot Shot Winter anti-gel, put some in your fuel filter and the rest in your tank(s). Let it idle for a while. Should take care of that problem.
I did mine years ago but I cut and siliconed the screening to underneath the cowl cover so I could remove easier in the future cleanings. Dust still builds up over time but no heavy debris.
If you have it, a spline drive wrench or socket is perfect for this. Don"t know if you have a Lowe's or Home Depot near you but they should have them or try Amazon. Good Luck!!

I have been thru the remans, off brands, etc. Motorcraft always lasted longer than the others since 1992 on my trucks for me.

The flare could also have a stress crack in it causing the light leak. Be sure and tighten that bolt with the rust around it on your alternator bracket at the water pump. It is loose if just slightly.
When I used the older plugs, before my upgrade, I used pliers to tighten the grip on the female connection very lightly until it stayed on to my satisfaction. Too much and it will smash or break.
Any 2-3" wide strips of nylon, rubber, etc. strap can be used for the buffer between the 'fuel tank' and mounting straps. Up to you for the material to use.

This is just one of the reasons I & others have moved to electric fuel pumps. The IHC 6.9s are basically the same with maybe different filters, IP, exhausting & accessories, etc

Same here. Noticed a lot of eBay stores separate the tools & lists them for RIDICULOUS prices & shipping. Blackhat used to have decent prices. Is where I bought a few tools way back.
