If the line clamp is missing, probably have a cracked line under the nut.
Replace that line & be sure you have ALL line clamps installed or you will have the problem again and possibly a fire.
The short one cuts out the vibration from the longer one. Some have added an idler off the Alt mounting bracket but I found this belt works better (I did the idler also). The cogged belts 'bite' better than the smooth.
Belts should be correct but check them out anyway.
Get a new cowl seal also or rain water will get in the filter cover & hydrolock your engine. Only takes a little to get past the rubber mounting washer.
Try to find matched set for your PS pulleys
Mine is a 1986 6.9 but I think the belts are the same. I use the DAYCO GOLD TOP COG belts from Rockauto.com
A/C: 17630......A/C to WP & Crank (13A1600)
VP: 15325......VP to ALT (11A0825)
PS: 17600......PS to WP & Crank (13A1525)
ALT: 17425......Short...
You can bend the Injector lines away from the injectors to remove w/o moving the IP. Take the 4 stiffeners off before loosening lines (remember where they go or take pictures) to ease the bending. NO SHARP BENDS
