    after being burned like you and having a wheel come off I was trying to keep tight, I have learned to keep a 4 way lug wrench in my vehicle. For a bonus I put a zip tie on the size socket that fits my truck since I always guess wrong 3 times before I get it LOL

    One of my favorite youtube guys covers his take on dash repair. He used body filler and rebuilt a dash that was pretty far gone. This will probably be the way I repair mine eventually.

    I have a 94 and it happens to me sometimes, a good smack on the dash has always fixed it back up. I suspect I need to clean up the main connector on the gage cluster. My wife sure found it amusing when I lost the dash, swore, hit it and everything came back to life.

    while not great if they are not pitted on the mating surface it should not effect anything. like mentioned, clean it up as best you can with a wire brush, flush it out and fill. I would run it for a little checking the oil. if after a few hundred miles it looks a little dirty but no shavings...

    it sure did lol, I picked it up at auction about 10 years ago with big plans and it just sort of sat around out back. It had sat around the place I got it from for who knows how long before me. Now that I have a loader backhoe tractor it was time for this one to move on. good luck Chris!
