I had it done by a transmission shop, so I have no idea what they actually replaced or didnt. I did request the tugger kit and better torque converter, but not doing it my self or standing over thier shoulder while they rebuilt it, I have no idea if I got what I paid for.
Back on the road again, after E4od rebuild. Its nice to drive without the transmission going into limp mode! Just hope it lasts, 12 month or 12k mile warranty.
I went out monday, drove 3.5 hours to get to Erick oklahoma, all day got 4 birds shot 10 times. I wish we had some birds here! this is third year in row that they are hard to find. Everybody keeps saying that cold front will push the Kansas birds down here, I dont think I have ever seen a kansas...

seems kind of silly to put that much money into a truck that i bought for 3000.00 in 2011 and would probably only bluebook for about 300.00. But its paid for and i cant afford a new pretty one, like and F450 Dually! and dont want to get into the payment game at my age!
color is just as good as the day i put it in, about 10 years ago. level is good, I can back all over my pasture, so im pretty sure its not the fluid. Trans makes no extra noises or anything when putting it in drive, just wont move.

found this on Google search and wanted to check all alternatives before overhauling transmission.
An E4OD transmission with reverse but no forward gears typically indicates a problem with the forward clutch pack, which is likely burnt up. This can be due to insufficient rebuild quality...
ok, I looked at all the electric connections on my transmission, 4x4 I could find anything that looked like a speed sensor on the tranny. I do have an ABS speed sensor on rear diff.
