    I would use a piece of flat bar 1/8 min or 3/16 above and below the floor at least 2" x2" and also appropriate mounting hardware. But I also do naval structural engineering... so I have been know to overdo somethings. But I would rather the seat I am riding on not go anywhere.

    Here are pics of the dash and the door panels and the under hood wiring harness. I will be sending this truck to the scrap yard in about two weeks so if anyone needs anything let me know.

    I washed the thing today (was covered in tree sap and dust. I also worked on de-rusting some parts I'm going to repaint and I started cutting the rusted out lower corners on my replacment radiator core support.

    Battery trays

    I like these a lot, I actually made up a design and took it to my local sheet metal shop yesterday and they are making me some 14 gauge stainless trays. I hope I can afford them when they are done making them. But at least the stainless I won't have to worry about ever.
