Im not sure which tranny it is at the moment. Its a monstrosicty for being pieced together lol.
I think I may ether buy an old power wagon (if I can find a nice one) or yank the motor and throw it into my ford until I find a parts truck to make s nice dodge. I also may just swap the correct...
I picked up a 92 dodge d250 a few weeks ago and thought Id share it.
It was converted to 4 wheel drive with stock dodge mounts. The springs are two 4 inch lift springs stacked.
The axle is I believe a dana 44hd with closed knuckles and kingpins with drum brakes lol.
The transmission acts...
Common problem in the 1356 transfer cases. Mine the arm actually wollowed out the tcase housing and allowed the shift plate to fall away from the forks. Ut would then fall unto neutral when I was shifting gears. I pulled mine apart and shimmed the linkage with washersto get me by till I could...
It is an impressive build. I (like many) wanted to build a high horse power idi but as it sits my motor keeps taking a beating and has so far never let me down. Maybe one day when it dies. But I already have a few cummins motors sitting around so I may just use one of those instead.

The mounting locations should already be marked under the cab. My current bench seats and the two before that were all out of crew cabs and bolted right into place once I drilled through the washers that were welded under the cab.
Let me see what I can do. I have had no time to do anything. I've been paying a buddy and my brother to box and shop my spare parts off to people. I wanted to go tomorrow but go a call at 7pm7pm that I had to be at work at 7am
I can do it in less than 2 on a stuck factory kit that fights back. But I've fmdone it several times. Its easiest to remove or at least unbolt the glow plug controller to use short wrenches on the back of the up pipe mount bolts. If I feel like making it really easy I disconnect the the cab...
What about an after cooler off of an industrial 5.9? I've for a cummins with an aftercooler and one with an intercooler and i think both could be made to work together. Look up my thread about the 5.9 and 8.3 cummins differences. There are the pics of my aftercooled 5.9 there.
