    That's normal. Mine does the same thing. If you increase the idle a little it helps with the noise on take off. Or run open exhaust. That drowns it out too lol.

    You need to find a new guy, that's way to much in my book. I just traded this tranny to my brother, but he may still Get rid of it lol. Ill check for ya. If not I can probably find another one.

    Its a separate spring on top of the normal pack that is used when the main spring sag to a certain point.

    Does yours have overload springs? I installed them on mine but never added the stoppers lol.

    Nice. The stock springs are pretty tough. I've had mine sitting on the stood a few times when I had the bed over flowing with rock. I wish i could find the receipt for 3800 lbs in the bed.

    Does the truck idle higher in the morning at first start. It could be tour injection pump is worn and when the high idle and cold advance kick off the tining retards to a point where it runs poorly. My last motor never put out good heat, I think the tstat. Was stuck open.

    There pretty easy to rebuild. I've done plenty in the last few years. People like to pull themselves up by the steering wheel road. I have never worn one out but others have done it for me lol

    Shouldn't have an oil pan gasket, just rtv. The gaskets all leak..
