    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

The old Moose is removed and now I'm anxiously waiting for the UPS man to arrive. I was able to remove the IP with everything attached, the top 5 b-nuts were loosened to allow the whole assembly to rotate up and out of the valley.

What to do before new IP?

I've done every bit of that. :) I've never had issues with cold starts it has only been hot starts. Cool water gets her lit off every time. I have ordered my second Moose pump and was getting depressed after reading your thread. I'm glad you got it figured out!

What to do before new IP?

Did you get this truck running correctly? What was the cause of the hot start? Still happy with the Moose IP?

Is it necessary to remove the turbo on a factory turbo truck to remove and replace the injectors and IP? I removed it last time but it looks doable keeping it installed.

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

Well, I finally ordered another Moose Jr pump and a set of Moose Mate injectors. I have one of the 1st Moose pumps from 2010. I sent the pump in with a hot start issue and it returned with a slightly better hot start problem. If you search this and other threads of mine you'll see I've battled...

    cruise control surging?

Mine has always surged right @ 50mph. I've cleaned connections and wiped off the rear axle speed sensor. No fix. I simply avoid 50mph. My guess is the rain crept in somewhere it shouldn't be.

'94 OBS door lock cylinder rod retainer

Does anyone know where to find this piece? I've searched the net and can only find them sold with a new lock cylinder. ($30 on Amazon, $200 from the dealer) I tried the HELP section from Dorman and although they market a pack of them from 86-07 they are not the same. I will try the junk yard...

Spongey brake pedal after replacing hoses and calipers

In regards to the brake smell, my new pads did that for the first 1,000 miles until everything seated properly. Have you gravity bled the system for a gew hours? I like to open all the bleeders and run 1/2 a gallon of dot3 through before I start pumping. I have a solid pedal after doing 3...

    Rough ride

Worn cab, bed and leaf spring bushings will contribute to harshness.

    Rough ride

Not at all, unfortunately as you know it doesn't take long to burn through a tank when loaded at freeway speeds. Once i hit a 1/4 to an 1/8 tank I top it off using my auxillary tank. I should have mentioned that my aux tank is usually full as is the truck box, I can't remember the last time...

    Rough ride

What shocks? Unloaded? Tire psi? I use Bilstein 4600 series shocks and run 60 psi front and 50 psi rear. It does not ride great and I get some bucking depending on the speed and section of freeway but overall it is not harsh and rides better than a clapped out 1-ton. I could...

    Instrument cluster grounds?

    Awesome, thanks!

    Instrument cluster grounds?

I'm aware that they are not true reading gauges but the pulsing irritates me.

    Instrument cluster grounds?

My factory oil psi gauge has started to flick around and pulse with the vibration of the engine. I have replaced the oil psi sender and cleaned up the pig tail connector. I think a ground is at fault. I polished up the frame to cab ground strap on the passenger side as well as the EEC...

I believe they were purchased from Summit years ago. They have the adhesive that you jam up into the weatherstripping gap...no issues to date.

It is a county regulation, not state. We have enough California idiots as is.

    My 1994 F-350 4x4 CC TD

I would absolutely like to fix the hot start issue properly. That is why I had my pump rebuilt by Conestoga Diesel. The IP came back with the exact same issue. I have done a number of things to correct it but it keeps coming back to a bad pump. My IP is out of warranty so short of...
