are 87-91 frames same as 92-97?

I know they are different on the '92+ half tons with a boxed accordion frame horn area in preparation for airbags. The swaybar is mounted differently because of this, and I know a reece front mount hitch won't swap. But again I've only examined F-150s and Broncos. Adrianspeeder

    86 F250 Deal

Don't know what ford was smokin' in the '80s when they came up with that one. Glad I'm back down to only havin' one. Adrianspeeder

    Will a 2008 bed fit on a 1990 F350?

That is just odd. You only have one fuel door on the superdutys as well. Adrianspeeder

    Another odd project - F350 with a big-truck turn-signal switch

It's worse when you remember which truck in the fleet doesn't self cancel turning left, and a different one that doesn't cancel after turning right. Adrianspeeder

New F350 purchase - but its' an automatic ....

Even worse having matching pair stick/auto Broncos and Superduties. Stompin for a clutch on startup on the slushboxes, and not grabbin' the shifter on the handshakers. Adrianspeeder

    E4OD to manual

The firewalls changed in '92 with the body style in prep for airbags for the halftons. Adrianspeeder

    Nice 4x4 F350 on CL

Ford didn't do a factory dually 4x4 pickup until the '99 superdutys. If you wanted a dually 4x4 pickup you had to chop down the frame on a chassis cab and bolt on a bed, or convert a SRW truck to be a dually. Adrianspeeder

New F350 purchase - but its' an automatic ....

Swap in a ZF and gear vender along with a '92+ front clip. Ya ain't a real man unless you have a school bus throw length shifter.... Lookin' good though. Adrianspeeder

On a half ton yes. Adrianspeeder

Rust free + snow = not rust free. Do like I do and buy a second truck, or 20... Adrianspeeder

    Zf6

My six gun is nice, but personally don't see the extra work being worth the gain. I'd rather run a five speed and over drive unit behind that. Adrianspeeder

    let me see youre duallys

Can't beat the stocky look of a regular cab dually I think. Plus a DIY dually is more fun too Adrianspeeder

    Troubleshooting a 1988 Ranger 2.9 gasser

First head on over to the top little truck site www.therangerstation.com and poke around if you want to talk to those guys. But if I remember right without my book, key on clicks the EEC relay, which then the computer drives the fuel pump relay. Adrianspeeder
