I think this one may not sell very fast

What a bargain! Extended cab 4x4 with less miles for 1/8th the price, not sure who in their right mind would pay 25k.

    6.9 low/no power

Lol thanks. I wish I had time to mess with it but I don’t… so she’s heading to the shop this week.

    6.9 low/no power

I got under there and took the cover off. No grease fitting. I can see the clutch plate moving when someone is in the truck pushing in the pedal. I’m thinking my clutch plate is just shot and isn’t grabbing onto the flywheel anymore.

    6.9 low/no power

I’m on it tomorrow thank you. Hopefully a little grease saves me a tow to the transmission shop because now the truck won’t move at all.

    6.9 low/no power

Yeah the clutch pedal is nice and smooth. Anything I could do to try and free it up before I take it to a transmission shop?

    6.9 low/no power

I don’t know I just took it for a drive and I’m thinking it’s a clutch or transmission issue. I have a T19 in there. The truck would move up and down the driveway same thing, wouldn’t move until I hit about 2500RPM now it really won’t move at all. Idles and starts up fine so I think fuel is...

    6.9 low/no power

This is what came out of the fuel filter. It only has 700 miles since I replaced it. Seems like an excessive amount of junk in there for such little miles. I filled with diesel kleen ran for 20 seconds and I’m going to let it sit for an hour.

    6.9 low/no power

I have an 86 Idi 4 speed 2wd truck that I’ve put about 700 miles since purchasing it. I changed out all the fluids and filters when I bought it. It’s been running really well for me up until today. It seemed like the engine was running at a higher RPM that was I was use to and it progressively...

    6.9 gauge reading cold

I have an 86 6.9 idi new to me by about two months. The truck has never gotten up to the middle of the temperature gauge as long as I’ve had it. I drove it home from Massachusetts’s to NJ on a hot July day and the gauge never got above the C mark on the dash. I figured it was a faulty sender so...

    1987 with all the upgrades

12,500 for a truck with 250k seems a little high.

    Coolant Suggestions.

So is that an ELC coolant l? There’s so much information and conflicting information on what to do with the coolant in these motors. I have a 6.9 with no coolant filter. Should that still be flushed at the factory interval of 3yr/36k miles or can it go longer without the filter?

    Coolant Suggestions.

That coolant is good for the 6.9 idis?

Odd stalling issue that has progressed

My 86 did the same thing and this worked for me. I filled my fuel filter with dieselkleen ran the motor for 15 seconds and let it sit for 24 hours has been great since.

    Synthetic oil as fuel?

Does anyone throw in 2 stroke oil with their fuel? I remember reading somewhere that the two stroke oil acts as a lubricant to mimick the fuel that would have been available before ULSD.

So what did you do with your truck today?

What rims are those? Very nice.
